Exactly as advertised on the web site. Spotless, cosy, warm and comfy. Only met the lady of the house but she was friendly, helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. A cracking cook as well - the Manx potato cake was brill!! Value for money and perfect for us 2 hill walkers.

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately there is not a lot we can do about the road but closing the double glazed window will reduce the noise considerably. We usually keep them on the latch rather than closed and not everyone appreciates or notices this. Once again thank you for the review and we look forward to seeing you again...

Stopped for 1 night whilst cycling Way of Roses - perfect location on route with just a brief stroll into Settle in the evening. Breakfast was good with homemade jam etc but hosts certainly went out of their way as my friend left her fleece and they actually drove to catch us up to give it back - wonderful place

2nd visit to Helen & Martyn's lovely B&B. Breakfast menu is extensive & beautifully cooked (impressed at the Silver Award for healthy breakfasts). Room was well appointed - fruit & fizzy water a bonus. Hot drinks to make yourself & homemade cakes in afternoon a lovely extra too. Previously booked there when doing 3 Peaks Challenge & they were wonderful;...

It is a pity that a very acceptable stay at the Oast guest house was marred by a distinctly cool welcome ( although we had stayed before), a strange unwillingness to serve us breakfast at 8 instead of 8.30 (surely not that early) and a disagreement over looking after our luggage including a delicate glass picture frame, until midday, which...

Thank you for your review it is appreciated. I would like to correct a misapprehension that you seem to have. We are a three star Bed and Breakfast and, as such, that is what we provide. The service is provided for all guests not just one room. As the other guests wanted breakfast at 9am then expecting Helen to get...

Just had two nights here with my sister to celebrate her birthday. First used Oast House around Easter with my husband and son.. Both visits were successful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Showers were beautifully warm. Breakfast was a delight with plenty of choice (wonderful eggs poached by Helen). Jams on offer and morning fruit juice were interesting! All home...

We stayed here two years ago and were just as pleased on our second visit. Room 2 is large with queen size bed which is very comfortable. There is lots of storage base for your belongings and a good ensuite shower room. The only downside was that the tv was too small. There is a lovely bowl of fruit left...

Thank you for your review it is very much appreciated. Both Helen and myself are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay again. We stayed two nights in the Oast Guest House while we hiked the Inglesborough peak. Our room was very comfortable and quiet and everything we needed for a good night's sleep. The hosts, Helen and Martyn, are very welcoming and helpful, while allowing you your privacy. Breakfast was expertly hosted, - coffee or tea in your hand as soon as...

Arrived to a warm welcome, room at the top was a little cramped but very clean and the bathroom was modern and the shower was hot. Excellent breakfast in the morning, where Martyn hearing that we were taking the train to Horton offered us a lift and was reluctant to take any money for it, Very helpful couple, recommended
