We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting friends. The setting is beautiful and within walking distance of settle. The room itself was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Rob and Shirley are excellent hosts and provided us with a delicious breakfast. We would highly recommend valleymead and will be visiting in the near future

We stayed here for 4 nights in late September and it was even better than the high expectations we had. Our en-suite room was like home from home with a lovely view of the large garden. Breakfast was a treat and a great opportunity to chat to the other guests. Our gluten free requirements were catered for with a smile....

We stayed in this superb apartment in late August and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's very quiet, comfortable and well fitted out. Perfectly situated for Settle and the surrounding area. Wish we'd been able to stay longer but we'll definitely be back!

So glad we got a cancellation. This was a excellent quiet location within easy walking distance of Settle itself and all the shops cafes etc. The room was spotless and very comfortable and everything you could ever need was available we have many weekends away and experienced all sorts of B andB and Hotels and this one takes some beating...

The owners of Valleymead also have a self catering apartment next to Settle railway station. It is newly built, immaculately clean, very nicely furnished, and with everything we needed for our long weekend at the Settle Folk Gathering. Shirley provided milk, tea, coffee and delicious home made biscuits. The apartment is within two minutes walk of Settle's shops, pubs, restaurants...

We stayed for 3 nights in late August at Valleymead. In all respects this B&B met our expectations. It's just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Settle itself, so close to amenities. It's clean and our room was a good size with an en suite bathroom. Our host Shirley was helpful and breakfast was very good (including the...

The Valleymead has to be one of the best places to stay. It is so friendly and welcoming. The room we had was comfortable with splendid views and the breakfasts were superb. I'm not surprised that nobody has a bad word to say. Highly recommended.

Fantastic B&B well positioned actually on the 'way of the Roses', very friendly; we were given tea and home baked cake on arrival. There was secure storage for our bikes. Nearby pub for evening meal (didn't need to get back on our bikes!)

On our arrival at Valley Mead around 17:00pm we were spoilt with a pot of coffee & tea and home baked scones, butter and jam. You would not normally receive this kind of warm hospitality at any other guest house or B&B. This made our stay the ever more welcoming stay 5th & 6th June with Kath & John. Our...

Valley Mead turned out to be an excellent place for visiting Settle and the surrounding area. The house overlooks the river and hills beyond, is comfortable with your every need supplied. A very friendly welcome and a really great breakfast. We would not hesitate to go back there.
