We chose to stay her overnight as it is only five minute walk into town. Lots of shops nearby and easy to walk to the castle or cathedral.
The older part of town is nice for a stroll with lots of pubs near the river....More

The Trowel and Hammer web page says it's on a main road, and it is! So there's some noise, but it's not excessive, and there's a lot of plusses. Our room (2) was spacious and comfortable. It was cleaner than most, the breakfast was good...More
