My partner and i stumbled upon St. Edmundsbury while driving through Old Costessey. We were looking for somewhere quiet and comfortable to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We felt very welcome - Lesley and Brian we got to know quite well (even in out short 2 night stay) they were both lovely and very accommodating.... More

I stayed here for a couple of nights to attend a Trade Fair in Norwich. The room was cosy and clean and the breakfast was excellent. I've seen one of two reviews saying that the owners were unfriendly, but I didn't find that at all and I had a most enjoyable stay.

We stayed here for one night on a fleeting visit to Norwich. Upon arrival the lady owner was not very welcoming. Shown to our room which was extremely clean and tidy! We had a shared bathroom which again was clean! A bit dated and the shower was more of a trickle than a blast! Walls are quite thin so you... More

My husband and I booked over the bank Holiday and although we thought it was good value for money initially the lack of friendliness changed our minds. Our room was clean however, it was dated and the door continually banged so we had to wedge some card in it. It's a shame but I wouldn't recommend staying here. On leaving... More

I never write reviews, however staying at this lovely b&b for four nights and having such a pleasant stay I wanted to write something after reading several disappointing reviews on here, which I think is very critical and unfair. I'm an easy going person and consider myself quite a normal average person and I thought the b&b owners were extremely... More

My boyfriend and I came here to get away from London, London tubes, work and smog! The owners were so helpful telling us where to go and what to do. Gorgeous fields to walk through, pubs along route. Norwich has great shops too, 15mins away. Room was cute. I will be returning when London gets too much again... Next week... More

I stayed at the St Edmundsbury B&B a few months ago whilst on business in the area and I have to say I was really disappointed, a few things of note that occurred during my stay: - Upon arrival (after driving for 8 hours) I was greeted as coldly as if I were a door to door sales person and... We stayed for two nights bed and breakfast. We arrived and was given the impression that we were not expected. The owner told us he had booked us into the local Travelodge. Whether this was an attempt at a joke or not we do not know, but it was not a good impression. As we were booked in here by... More
