We booked a couple of nights here to catch up with old friends and had no idea what to expect. We were greeted by Jim who showed us to a lovely suite with tea and coffee making facilities, microwave and fridge plus masses of storage space. The bathroom had a large shower cubicle and huge bath. It was freezing cold...

Very central location which means noise late into the night. Room 2 is very small but not really an issue. General finish especially in the en-suite was very poor (e.g: shower bracket & toilet roll holder both loose, sealant apparently applied by a toddler....). Breakfast good ( bacon great, sausages not so). Decent value, parking included but slightly disappointing overall.

An excellent location just 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral and riverside walks. Our room in the top of the property was beautifully fitted out to a high standard and very spacious. Luxury bathroom ,large comfortable bed , 2sofas , TV, kitchen area and a generous amount of lighting, drawers and hanging space. Views down to quaint street and historic...

This B & B is situated in a great location. Within walking distance of the city, but still quiet and relaxing. We were in a family room which was very spacious with a cosy seating area. The bathroom standard was more towards hotel standard than what you'd expect to find in a B & B. Everything was spotlessly clean. The...

As a discerning solo traveller, I was looking for a good place to base myself for yesterday's works do. I had originally planned to base myself somewhere near the bus station, but when a certain chain of hotels, they shall remain nameless were asking an exorbitant amount of money for 1 room, breakfast and WiFi I thought my search was...

Two of us stayed in this lovely b&b located a short walk to the center of town. Friendly and helpful manager, good breakfast and lovely room. Highly recommend for singles and couples. Not sure it's a good fit for children.

Fantastic little B&B right near the centre of the city with it's own car park. Pretty good breakfast, really good cream tea and the room we had was brilliant. we were in the converted barn section out the back in the idyllic courtyard - really well turned out room, no noise at all and overall had a great time. Definitely...
