Basic accommodation and pretty must as you would expect from this type of hotel. Nice clean room, good breakfast, staff efficient and courteous. Also a good location for visiting the university and city centre. Car parking is multi-storey next door

Food is so bad in this place at restaurant prices you will be handed frozen reheated food. I ordered a Pizza on the menu and was handed a Chicago town pizza and the other meal was definitely out of the freezer of Iceland supermarket. The main entrance to this hotel is like a fire exit you would never think it....

Good value. Clean and tidy. Nothing bad but nothing outstanding either. Staff friendly and hotel modern. Would recommend as a place to stay if you are looking for a low cost hotel that provides the basics

Excellent value, friendly, helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. I asked for food in the early hours on my return to the room one night and was cheerfully shown the menu, and ten minutes later my food was ready!

The travelodge is newish & has an Aldi supermarket adjoining it. Easy access from both roads & an easy walk from bus & rail stations. Ideal for staying, as I did, for the football &, despite losing to boro, the trip was worthwhile.

After a nightmare experience in a London branch of Travelodge the day before this hotel was a perfect antidote to wip away the experience. Great staff, decent food and cheaply priced. Lovely nights sleep

Myself and my daughter had booked here and found the room a generous size. Lovely strong power shower. Tea/coffee making facilities, TV, lovely comfy bed. We went out for tea and got a bit lost looking for the university and ended up being escorted in a police car which my daughter loved. On returning to the hotel the staff were...

We have stayed in Travelodges all over the UK and have to honestly say that we have never had a single complaint. Middlesbrough is a little bit different for us as we would stay here more often due to our commitments in the area and we simply love it. The location is ideal with a very large Aldi carpark for...
