This review is way overdue however extremely necessary! We had many delays with our flight back home and just got busy and forgot to add our review for this incredible experience. My husband and I were just talking about how much we enjoyed this trip and are looking forward to a future visit when things reopen very soon. This hotel is hands down in the best location. It was our first annual holiday trip planned to London and Italy back in Dec/Jan. We had so much fun exploring the city all due to this hotel. It was close enough to go see everything however nestled in a cozy, non touristy location. We felt like locals, absolutely gorgeous location and street. Also near some incredible restaurants and walkable to the train station to get to the airport. The hospitality and service provided by Ataur Rahman was the best we have ever received and we have traveled Worldwide to many establishments! He is the reason we will be returning to this hotel every time we come back to visit. He made our stay so welcoming and we felt right at home. Ataur's service is extremely rare to come across. He genuinely cared and took incredible care of us along with many other guests. I recommend upgrading to the most spacious room here. It is very nice and incredibly priced for the amount of space you get in this region. If you have never been to London the rooms are often times smaller. If you upgrade to their top room here it is one of the larger rooms you will find in London, so we highly recommend! We look forward to returning soon!

Our stay was essentially all that we could have hoped for our 3 night stay. We gave the hotel a heads up we would be arriving early because of our flight. We flew into Gatwick and took the direct express train to Victoria station. From there it was a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel. We were given a warm welcome and a recommendation on where to get breakfast as our room wasn't ready yet. While we were eating breakfast we were notified our room was ready. The room was cozy and comfortable. We appreciated the shower, robes, and toiletries, comfortable bed, and kitchenette with a Nespresso machine. The location of the hotel was very convenient to access many tourist sites such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster, parks, and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to London.

The desk staff were very helpful when we arrived early after a long overnight flight. Looked after our baggage and recommended places for breakfast while we waited for a room to become available. The room was larger than we expected, and had the mini-kitchen facilites that make The Resident hotels so convenient (we first came across them in the base2stay days). The hotel's location is ideal for long walks through the parks or down to the Thames. We wish the staff well in what are difficult times for travellers and hosts alike.

Dear ZA_register Thank you for your 5 star review. I am very pleased to see that we were able to assist you. Overnight flights can be rough and we know how tired our guests are when they arrive. The team has all the knowledge needed to give our guests the best possible advice on what to do and see as well as the best places to eat. I am happy you liked the room and the size. All our rooms come equipped with the kitchenette which is great for our guests to make use of and offers great flexibility. Our location is amazing with so many of the best sights in London a short walk away. Not to mention the amazing parks all around. I am very happy you enjoyed your stay with us. Thank you for your well wishes to the team during this difficult time. I hope you and your loved ones are all well and safe. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Regards Tyrone Cinnamon

Our stay at The Resident Victoria was incredible. From the warm greeting we received from Aaron the moment we walked in the door to the final wave goodbye, we were thoroughly pleased and impressed by everything we experienced. Best parts: rain showers with great water pressure, complimentary cocktail hour with snacks every evening, great local recommendations from the staff, lots of pillows on the beds, CLOSE TO EVERYTHING, Aaron, all the staff, the gift of wine and chocolates for our anniversary, the in-suite kitchenettes with coffee and tea, the magnifying mirror in the bathroom, Aaron, decent WiFi, the complimentary plug adaptors for our electronic devices, the neighborhood, and Aaron. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in London for any amount of time. We stayed for ten nights and honestly felt like we were home. I can’t wait to go back!

The Resident Victoria is located across the street from Buckingham Palace; you can't ask for more. The rooms have been totally updated and couldn't be nicer. The staff was very accommodating. This was a great value.

Hello what is the cost per night to add a single sofa bed to a Superior room please? Thanks
Answer from Tyrone C
Oct 2019 |
Good day Thank you for your question. We do not charge for the sofa beds as these are part of the room category. If you require a room for 3 or 4 people the best option would be to book our Deluxe rooms as this comes with a sofa bed. Regards Tyrone Cinnamon
