This was just a great B&B, great location, even better staff, I can not say enough about this place. We could have stayed in the best hotels in London, we can afford it, but we just want a base to explore and spend money on us and at night its a bed, but its a good bed there. I wanted...

The Gower House Hotel is ideal for travellers who are in London for a few days or couples who need a bed to sleep in. It is located on Gower Street and is 5 minutes away from London Underground's 'Goodge Street' station. The rooms were clean and the interior was very nice. Only issue we had that there was lack...

This hotel has a great location in a nice area and close to everyhting we could need, convenient shops, restaurants, transport (nearest stations are Goodge Street and Tottenham Court Road just a couple of minutes walking). The room decoration was a bit oldish but the room and bathroom were very clean. The mattress was quite used but ok. We had...

The hotel certainly has a good location. It is located in a row of lovely, old houses (many of which are hotels). It is fairly close to Euston and St Pancras stations. My room was very small, though modern and clean. There were a number of negatives. The public areas were worn and drab. The staff I met were efficient...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights while she was on a course. whilst the room was adequate, I found the room small in comparison to much cheaper hotels I have stayed in. The bathroom was very clean and well decorated. The stair carpets are looking very threadbare and in need of replacing. The continental breakfast...

Stayed here 13 September 2014 as attending Proms in the Park. Easy to book, although did receive a message 48 hours before to state debit card could not be accepted. However, on re-entering details of same card, no problems. Funds were taken and listed as pending and then presentation of same card on the day completed payment. Reception staff helpful...

My husband & I stayed overnight in this hotel on 23/7/14. The room was clean but quite small although the beds are very shaky & the bathroom very compact but clean and usable. The air con unit was very useful as it was difficult to have the windows open as the traffic was very noisy (I live in a busy...

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
