Good business hotel if you are working in the city of London. Room was clean but small. Window was missing a sheer blind and the curtain did not fully cover the window allowing light in at night. Helpful staff and good breakfast.

We booked the Andaz Hotel as part of a Theatre package while seeing Dreamgirls. We checked into the Hotel and were seen at a desk and asked if we wanted a seat, plenty of staff around so no waiting, we went to our room and were happy with the size and facilities. A small gripe was for the size and...

We enjoyed our overnight stay at this hotel. Positive points: historic railway terminus hotel. Thoughtful touches like drink on check-in and complimentary soft drinks in room. Good bar, cafe and restaurant. Staff were positive and friendly. Check in and out were efficient. Very good location for the financial district. I have previously been given there which have no external Windows...

Great experience, albeit brief at the Andaz. A great location by Liverpool St station. The rooms are what truly make the hotel and the staff are excellent. I arrived right at 10:00PM and was surprised to hear that most of the restaurants had stopped serving food. A great hotel

We stayed here for three nights in July and had a superb experience from check-in to check out. This is my second time at the property but first with my family. We were warmly welcomed with drinks and help with baggage and our diamond status was recognized and appreciated by our host. We had a confirmed suite upgrade and the...

I stayed here as part of a weekend deal with friends. We had a deluxe rooms upgrade with 2 course meal in the restaurant which was delicious and breakfast plus a burlesque fire show in the rarely seen masonic temple in the basement All I can say is it was a birthday not to forget from the moment I checked...

I booked a night here (plus a meal at Galvin at Windows) for our anniversary a couple of weeks earlier, we’d eaten at the 1901 restaurant a while back and loved it so much we said we’d have to return and stay. I suppose I should’ve checked the restaurant first as it only serves breakfast now (more later) and is...

Popped into London to see a show, that's a whole different story, and to see some old East end haunts with the wife, so needed a central nice hotel and boy did we find it. The Andaz is one of those hotel's you just might walk by, but the inside is like the TARDIS. I have always said it's the...

Just next to the train station and underground. Good size of the room. Comfortable bed and clean room. Complimentary mini bar. The check in went smoothly. Lots of good restaurants and bars nearby. Will definitely stay here again.

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
