Nice area. Hotel was OK, ensuite was tiny. Staff very hospitable. I would probably use this hotel again with a bunch of mates. I'm not sure my wife would approve though. The room was quiet with plenty of space, kitchenette with tea & coffee

I stayed with my daughter for 6 nights in November 2016 in a twin room. Ahead of our trip, I sent two emails to the hotel, but did not get any response. When we arrived, I asked to see the room because I had specifically asked for a reasonably quiet twin room, whereupon the person at the "reception" immediately stated...

I don't simply write a bad review unless one is really deserved. We spent four nights at this hotel last week and I must say this is the worst hotel I have ever been to. The air conditioning system didn't work, only blow air. We complained about it to the hotel and was told to open the window instead of...

We stayed for a single night and were somewhat dismayed to find that our allocated room was in the basement - ie one tiny window and minimal natural light. Our displeasure with this circumstance was exacerbated the following morning when, water poured into the bathroom through the ceiling which was immediately under a bathroom on the floor above. This downpour...

Very easy situated hotel for sightseeing. Clean rooms and excellent service. Cooking facilities as well as enough budget restaurants in the vicinity. Very safe and secure area especially for children. The metro is a short walk from the hotel as well as the bus line. The major attractions can also be reached by foot, just wear comfy shoes.

I stayed here with 2 friends in April and when we booked we were assured that we would have 3 separate single beds. It was made clear that we would book somewhere else if this wasn't an option so whoever we spoke to obviously decided they would rather lie to ensure the booking than admit that they only room with...

This is a small hotel close to bayswater tube and Hyde park. The updated rooms are small as are the bathrooms , you wouldnt want to spend a great deal of time inside but the beds are good and the space is adequate. The location is great though close to Hyde Park with its walks and open spaces , near...

Booked our last night in the UK with Hotels.com. The ad & pics looked lovely in a great area, but when we got there we were given a basement room which was damp and only view was 2 large air con units outside windows. Asked management if we could have another room as I would never have booked it if...

For the price, this hotel is a great value, and gets what I think to be an unnecessarily bad reputation on Expedia/TripAdvisor, probably from Americans like myself who somehow expect the Ritz Carlton at the rate of £60/night. We arrived at the hotel very early at 10am as we had taken an overnight flight. We expected that we would have...

Arrived for a one night stay. About a 5 minute walk from Bayswater tube station. Very clean and tidy rooms, Self catering facilities in room with hob and microwave. 24 access as reception is manned. Pubs and restaurants in area. Very pleased.

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
