Beautiful hotel with very pleasant helpful staff. Very nice room, was clean, comfortable and smelt like we'd walked into a spa. Large door which opened onto a small enclosed courtyard. Short walk onto Regent Street.

I stay here about 12 weeks a year whilst visiting on business. I stay at Chandos in preference to the other RSM accommodation, Domus, round the corner. The staff are friendly and act together to make you welcome, maintaining a high standard of accommodation at all times. There is no bar, which suits me fine, and no restaurant on the...

Brilliant hotel for being totally central . Exceptionally quiet area and very attentive staff , They cannot be faulted for their courtesy and help wherever needed. The standard room we had was adequate albeit on the small side and only one dining type chair to sit on for 2 people and the bed was extremely low. Room 5.water pressure in...

This was our second visit to Chandos House. It's clean and convenient, a good location and great value for money. It's not an experience to stay at Chandos House, just easy. We have never had breakfast there so can't comment on that. The beds are ok, slightly on the hard side if I have to be critical. Nice bed linen...

The staff were very polite and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and had nice linen and the room was warm and quiet. On the downside the hotel itself is extremely tired. Difficult to shut main door and the bathroom door was impossible to shut from age (warping?). The shower taps were extremely confusing. It even came with directions and...

This hotel is ok for an overnight stay but no more.Very limited to what it can offer you. We booked B and B and explained we had to leave at 6.45 in the morning and asked if we could have breakfast. They told us it was a little too early, however they would arrange a type of ''pack up' for us to...

Although I booked a double room, I was travelling alone. Probably a very good thing, as it was really difficult to move around the (small) double bed without having someone else in the room. I appreciate this is an old and listed building, but there's an awful lot of cracked and chipped paintwork in room 5 (walls and furniture). When...

I booked this hotel for a 1 night stay as I needed to be in London with work and all other hotels seemed extortionate in price. Check in was unfriendly and I think because I booked through tripadvisor (redirected through late rooms) I must have been allocated the worst room possible? My room was on the lower ground floor at...

This is our second visit to Chandos House. I simply can't see the point of going anywhere else from now one when we are in London. Rooms are comfortable and beautifully furnished. Staff are friendly and helpful - and it's a great location. Second to none for the price.

Chandos House lies in the heart of the city, just off Regent Street and only 5-min walk from Oxford Circus tube. Yet, the location is free from noise and has a calming atmosphere from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. The room was fabulous with a sense of grandeur. It is the little things that count. Umbrella...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
