The hotel is very dirty and old fashion, with terieble old and dirty carpets. The breakfast is awful, dirty. The staff is not friendly and not proffecional. For sure not recommend to stay atthe hotel.

Hotel's Favourite
Perfect family hotel in a great location, with a view of The London Eye! We booked a studio room for 2 adults, a 13 and 11 year old, and we had plenty of space. The room was really 2 rooms separated by a kitchen and bathroom, which gave us adult/kid space to unwind after a busy day! The kids shared the sofa bed. We put them top to tail, and requested 2 single duvets to prevent them from arguing. This was ready for our arrival, plus their towels were made up in the shape of elephants - a great touch!! Both the kids and us slept really well! The beds were comfortable. We had room 620, right in front of the elevators. There was no noise though, from either within the hotel or outside- it was a really peaceful stay! I think the rooms must be sound proofed, but there was no slamming of doors/ noise from lift. The room had everything we could have wanted! The bathroom had a walk in shower and separate bath, and was spacious for the location. We were provided with an iron/ironing board, microwave, mini fridge, cutlery/plates, lovely bottles of Elemis shampoo/conditioner/shower wash, tissues, flannels as well as towels etc. We didn’t need to ask for anything. Breakfast was AMAZING!! We thought it was the best buffet breakfast! We used the bar/outside area too and this was a relaxing facility to have at the end of a busy day. The food and drink are lovely! The hotel staff really go above and beyond. They are a credit to the hotel! The location was fab also. We used the tube to travel everywhere - from Waterloo. This station is 5 mins down the road and tubes come every 2 mins. We could leave the hotel and be in Leicester Sq, at Tower of London/ Kensington museums 15/20 mins later, for £2.50 per trip (with an Oyster card). South Bank is <5 mins away, as are a Marks and Spencer’s/Boots the Chemist for supplies. We plan to return later in the year and won’t stay any where else in London now!

Park Plaza (a Raddison company) has several hotels in the Westminister/Lambeth area of London. This was our second stay. The hotel is convenient to Waterloo station, the London Eye, and a brisk walk across the Thames to Westminister. Tube, taxi, and buses are easily found. For our family, we chose a room with a pull out bed. It is in a separate space from the bedroom, connected by a small passageway with fridge and microwave, and access to the bathroom. The room was quiet and very clean. The bathroom features both a tub and a separate walk-in shower. Staff were excellent.

Lovely family hotel, close to the London eye and tube stations. Restaurant was nice although we had to go to the bar to ask for menus and when we ordered things were forgotten. Breakfast service and food was amazing. Staff friendly.

Our family of 4 visited in August and overall had a fantastic trip and stay at the hotel. We choose PPCH due to the location and also because we could book a penthouse to get a balcony as it seemed somewhat difficult when searching through the many hotels in London. I knew there were only 2 PH rooms to face the London eye, however booking early I put in the request...it was not given and we ended up with a view of big ben rom 1404. It was still an "ok" view, however the cost was significant (vs regular rooms) so please know that it could be disappointing to have a room that looks directly into another park plaza hotel as well as train tracks. Check in gentleman, not exactly the friendliest, but there was another lady manager that made up for it. The room was large and spacious with a kitchen, pull out couch for the kids and king bed for the adults and one bathroom. Although it was mentioned at check in the room would only be cleaned every 3 days, each day our room was cleaned so that was much appreciated. We had refills on water each day as well and they did a great job. Beds were comfortable but pillows were terrible! Breakfast was included in our rate and the whole family mentioned it was one of the biggest spreads we have come across, kids had a blast eating fresh pancakes and nutella everyday. The only thing I missed was no cream for my coffee...only milk selection. As others have mentioned, staff is overwhelmed and unless you visit before 8:00 - 8:30am please expect a line and a packed restaurant. They do a good job of moving people through quickly but it is not a relaxed experience. The one day we ate at 7:30am it was much less crowded and calm. The only real blip in our experience was coming back late around 9:30pm one evening from a long tour, we wanted to visit the hotel restaurant. It was extremely busy and they told us that they couldn't seat us and to order room service. Placing our order was difficult as the gentleman could not understand my order for some reason. After 60m with no order we called to follow up, which we were hung up on not sure why. After calling the front desk, we finally received a comped order at midnight and the next morning a card with an apology and a small bottle of wine. And just to note - although that experience was not ideal we should note the food we did receive at least tasted good. The location is fabulous and allowed us to walk everywhere. We felt extremely safe and I would recommend as a great location for a first time visit in London if you want to be close enough to walk. We did take many ubers as well and one note...although we tried changing the pin, all drivers assumed we were across the street at the PP westminster. Great stay, enjoyed being able to sit outside and good location.

Warmly welcomed at check-in by Jaan, who gave me & my young daughter a lovely free room upgrade, and voucher for a free ice cream. Room was just gorgeous, with the most amazing view over the Thames. Clean and spacious, with excellent facilities. The only thing I couldn't find was a hook to hang the towels on! Breakfast was included in our stay, which my daughter made full use of. Unfortunately, as a vegan with severe intolerance to lactose and soya, I only managed dry toast, cooked tomato and a cup of tea. There were other options that may have been 'safe', but I don't like to keep asking the busy team what is and isn't suitable. Perhaps the hotel would consider labelling the buffet items to make this easier? Location was ideal for visiting the Westminster/ Southbank area, and very close to Waterloo station. I'd highly recommend a stroll over Westminster bridge at sunset - it may have been the highlight of our trip! Hope to be lucky enough to return to this hotel in the future - it was a very enjoyable stay!

We stayed here for one night. only thing that let it down was the lack of view (we had a window looking over the atrium so no natural daylight) but the rooms were clean, and spacious. The bed is THE best bed i've ever slept on! the mattress was so comfortable i didnt want to leave! the cooked breakfast wasnt great and the restaurant charge £4 for a tea! but overall i would 100% come back here again

This hotel was perfect for us. It's right across from the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, steps away from the Leake Street tunnel, a block away from the London Eye, literally a block away from the Waterloo rail station, and a short walk away from Westminster Abbey. Room: AC worked great and the bed was comfortable. Love that the toiletries were provided, and the shower worked well. The only downside was the drain, it was slow going for the last couple of days, so I didn't bother calling maintenance. Our room was 631, it even had a partial view of the London Eye! Breakfast: We opted to add breakfast because of the kids, it’s convenient to wake up and go downstairs to enjoy breakfast before heading out to explore London. Go early and you won’t have to wait to get anything, 7 – 7:30 was the sweet spot because by then the pancakes are out! Almost everything in the hot section was gluten-free, and there was even a dedicated toaster in a different area to avoid cross-contamination.

This hotel is very dated throughout. We had a studio room which was small, dark, cramped and very dated. Bathroom needed refurbishing. The "view" was a pile of rubbish outside Waterloo Station! No coffee machine, only instant coffee. Very limited TV channels. No shower cap provided. Felt no better than a Premier Inn. Feel completely ripped off at over £300 a night. I would have expected a bit more luxury at that price.
