My boyfriend and I spent two lovely nights at the Fraser Suites. They are perfectly located to explore London and offer a nice little bit of luxury when you get back to rest. The rooms are absolutely lovely and I would highly recommend staying here.

Everything is fine with this kind of apartment service hotel. Except that the water for shower is really no good! Either too cold or too boiling hot! We had been staying at this hotel for 10 nights and we had suffered the boiling hot shower water with no improvements or whatsoever!

My family and I have a very comfortable stay in Frasers Queens during the cold winter. The room was cosy and we have a great sleep each night. The room has all that you need. The front desk was extremely attentive and prompt in looking into the shower issues during our stay. I must thank the front desk for their...

My wife and I stayed in this small yet nice hotel for four nights over the Christmas period. While there was no housekeeping services on the Christmas Day, hotel staff were very helpful satisfying our various needs. The front office manager VJ served us well. The hotel is located in a nice area and close to public transport.

Stayed here for four nights after Christmas. We had two rooms - one 1 bedroom room and one 2 bedroom room. We had stayed here before two years ago and returned because our first stay was very good. A few years ago, I had not a single complaint about the hotel. It seems like in the intervening two years standards...

Stayed at Queens Gate in Nov 2016. I had booked and paid in advance for a 2 bedroom apartment. Upon my arrival, I was told I would be 'upgraded' to adjoining deluxe rooms, whatever that meant! As it was late in the evening, we agreed but when I was shown the room, I highlighted to the reception that there must...

We spent two nights here with our young children. The room was freezing and we had to repeatedly call the reception for them to turn the heating on from the control panel. The front of house staff were unhelpful and acted like it was our fault! We repeatedly asked to speak to the manager who wasn't around. The rooms are...

Stayed for a total of 11 nights. Room looks worn and not maintained. The floor produces squeaking sound when you walk on it. Soundproofing is bad. The bed mattress was sunken and woke up with a sore back the next day. No coffee machine provided. Housekeeping was erratic and always forget to replace items. Disappointed with the standard being my...

This time we decided to try a serviced apartment type while in town. We booked a two-bedroom deluxe suite and it had the right size to accommodate a couple travelling with two kids. The kitchen, though small, is well equipped. It was a pity that we could not use the gym during our stay, as it was under maintenance. The...

Have stayed a few times. Great location, comfortable room. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Will definitely return. Quiet neighbourhood. The tube is only 200m away, with good restaurants in the area. Harrods, museums, Hyde park, Kensington palace within minutes.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
