I have been to 38 countries- some of them pretty dodgy. This is by far the worst place I have stayed. I got eaten alive by bedbugs. I am currently at a laundry hoping the dryers will kill them. The place was so filthy, and the showers so full of mold, I thought of bolting, but it was getting dark...

Upon arrival we were told that the room we had booked was unavailable so the 'receptionist' guy gave us a different option, we chose an alternative then parted with our money. He took us to a different building and noticed about 20 bags of rubbish in front of the building. We entered and noticed the bad smell of really dirty...

Great for staying for 1 night after a night out. Employees nice and helpful, even got a nice bit of tea and toast in the morning. The whole place is characteristically grubby, but I have seen a lot worse! Avoid if you're looking for somewhere to relax/refresh after a lot of travelling, but definitely stay here if you're just looking...

When trying to check in into the hotel, the owner first told as that it this was too late, even thought it says on the website it is 24 h,next he told us there was no reservation, or room for us ( we had both confirmations of payment and reservation), and eventually he can offer us one- bed room in...

We were shown to the room by a bouncer in shorts and Tee, there was no reception. We thought there was a sheet missing to go under the blanket (no Quilt). the bouncer came up and showed us that there were 2 sheets so he went away. We turned back the top sheet and quite honestly there could have been...

Don't understand why people are writing such bad reviews about this place because you get what you pay for. We payed £40 per night for a twin room - as travellers on a budget this was an excellent price. It is situated a 10 minute walk from Buckingham palace and a 5 minute walk to the train station which is...

It was very cheap for last minute. 60£ for double room. They should clean more, wasn't really clear if it was cleaned or not. Tap was leaking, but kinda clean bathroom, at least not creepy. Had breakfast to the room, some toast an coffee. Satisfied for money I paid and what I got! Staff was nice, I think we met...

Went to this hotel last minute. Although it was very cheap and in a good location (55£ on a Saturday night) I got there and was greeted with we are full and we haven't had your booking through so therefore I got put into shared house around the corner with my boyfriend. We booked a double room and this was...

After looking for accommodation and booking/paying for it at this 'hotel', it was with great trepidation that we came to stay here after reading the reviews. Having been in transit for nearly 42 hours, all we needed was a hot shower, a hot drink and some rest. On arrival, we were met by Hugo, who couldn't have been more friendly...

I was greeted by someone who spoke to words of English, he just said money....give. When shown to the room it was pretty disgusting, stains on everything, should have done a runner then, but hey, I had already paid. The bathroom was not en suite, it was the bedroom in a bathroom. To get breakfast in the morning you had...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
