Two day sight seeing visit so we just wanted a reasonable priced hotel, this one was the rooms are small, we had a basement room which was o the small side , however it was clean and warm. The bathroom was again small but clean and the shower was powerful and hot. Whilst the hotel does not offer breakfast ,...

If there were prizes for friendly reception staff, the chap here would be in with a shout of winning. I arrived super late, knackered and he couldn't have been nicer or more understanding. Well done that chap. Room was small and slightly underground. Had everything you'd need including tea and coffee, was clean enough and although clearly the building is...

The Wardonia hotel is close to three stations (Kings Cross, St Pancras and Euston) but apart from that does not appeal. We were only staying one night between trains and would not want to stay any longer, as the room was tiny and the double bed must have been a king single (48" wide), as a double would not have...

This is a well-located hotel - close to three main railway stations (Kings Cross, St Pancras and Euston) and underground/bus routes. But the room I stayed in was VERY small - with minimum fixtures and fittings. It is really only suitable for a quick stay in London where someone just needs a bed for the night. The staff were friendly...

First the three negatives some of the previous guests have mentioned: - No lift. This is a listed building and the hotel has five stairwells. However, the stairs are manageable and you could always request a ground floor room. - The rooms are tiny. Actually I have stayed in far tinier rooms. The single rooms are small, but for their...

Stayed in this hotel for a weekend in London. Room was small but I am sure that every hotel in London has the same issue - there is not a lot of space but assuming that you are only sleeping and showering it is perfect for a (long) weekend. What really stood out for me was the location, with kings...

Situated very close to St Pancras, the hotel is on a relatively quiet street. I wasn't sure what to expect for the money but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel appeared to have been recently decorated. The only issue was the fact that there are no lifts, so if you have luggage, you have to lug it up flights of...

I stayed for one night here in a single room to attend a conference. Perfectly fine for a night, clean and had everything I needed: en suite, tea making facilities, tv. Practically no noise over night, which was a surprise for London. Good location too, just set back off main road on a quiet no through road.

The hotel is very basic, but clean and has a perfect location, just 5 minutes walk from St Pancreas international train station. I was in a single room which is miniature but just enough for one or two nights stay. Walking distance to city center. On my next short trip to London I will book this hotel again because of...

Just across the road from Kings Cross station, ideally situated for dropping off your bags and heading in to town. Don't expect luxury rooms with views over the capital and assistance with your bags...you get what you pay for! The place was clean, check in done with a smile and no fuss. Rooms are more than adequate for a 1...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
