I arrived at the hotel for roughly 7.15 PM. The doors of the hotel had been padlocked shut with a bike lock and there was a phone number on the door to ring. I rang this number and a guy came from his house 20 minutes away and let me in, and checked me in. I asked about the door situation and he said the door is locked with a padlock 24/7 and to leave or arrive i would need to ring the number and Wait for him. Got Upto my room, the windows didn’t lock or shut I questioned this and was told that he didn’t have any more rooms but ‘I shouldn’t get broken into don’t worry’. The plugs did not work, he said he wasn’t an electrician when I asked. The sides were dirty and the toilet was almost unusable. I said I wasn’t too happy with having to ring up to leave in the morning or to come back. He said if I wanted a fag I could sit on my bed and open the window. If I wanted to leave for work I would have to ring and wait. On checking out early he said if I hand my key card over I am banned from returning (which is fine by me)

I booked for 1 night as the pictures on-line looked wonderful and the hotel looked grand from the outside. I also liked the fact that there was free parking. As I walked into the reception I felt it wasn't as grand as I thought but it seemed OK until I went to the room to find a soiled bed, tatty furniture, the stale smell of cigarettes and nothing as grand as the pictures looked. I immediately knew I couldn't sleep in this room so we went downstairs and asked for a room change. The guy on reception was very nice and made no fuss about as wanting a room change but the 2nd room he took us to was even worse and again had visible stains on the bed. Luckily their card machine wasn't working and the receptionist had asked us to go to cash machine to get cash to pay for the room but we had asked to put our bags in the room first so as I knew I couldn't stay in these awful rooms we decided to leave and go look for anther hotel, luckily not losing any money. This hotel is in serious need of cleanliness and updating of furniture.

I tend not to write reviews but I strongly feel that this hotel warrants it. This hotel was booked for a few nights as accommodation for me and my colleague whilst working in the area. I am usually not that fussy but on entering my room I discovered what I could only explain as a extremely soiled toilet, obviously hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. I went to the local Tesco Express and bought bleach to clean the toilet myself. Until I discovered the state of the bed sheets which were absolutely disgusting , not only in my room but also in the room of my colleague. At anytime this would be bad but especially during the recent pandemic of COVID-19 I can not justify how this hotel has remained open. The cleanliness of the property was that far below standard that I felt dirty even being there. There was no way we would stay in such a god awful establishment, the staff didn’t care less when we checked out after just shrugged their shoulders (must be used to it). The photos look lovely online and the location great but god for the state of your health do not stay here.

The INGSLAND OTEL as the sign greeted us. Poor maintained garden to front entrance. Our room was on 2nd floor. Distinct smell of cigarette smoke in hotel. Room poor quality. Kettle but no tea coffee facilities. 1 cup. 2 towels for 3 people. Tiles in bathroom cracked and lifting. Poor quality shower and toilet facilities. Asked to look at different room, were shown a room which was occupied !!! Staff sitting out the back smoking and beer and wine bottles stacked outside. Called at JJ Moon for breakfast. Mentioned hotel for discount. Was Asked for a voucher. When mentioned this at reception didn’t know what I was talking about. Hotel needs total revamp in my opinion. Very disappointing.

Stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights a week for four weeks. The hotel is clean, has very pleasant staff and is a brilliant location with everything you need on the doorstep. On site parking is a massive bonus and Kingsbury underground station is only a few minutes walk away. This hotel offers superb value for money. I highly recommend it and I have high standards!
