My husband had business in London and the Hoxton was one of the hotels recommended for us to stay at, that was walking distance to the office. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Very long cab ride from Heathrow. Took an hour and cost 90 pounds! The entrance to the hotel is very subtle, you could walk right by and...

We so enjoyed our all too short stay with you on March 18th and 19th. The rooms were small but they had all you needed close at hand, the beds and pillows were wonderful. All the staff were very helpful and all seemed happy to help. We spent quite a lot of time in your lobby watching the people come...

The Hoxton just seems to get it right every time. A hip feel, great atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff and in an interesting part of the city. There is a bar and restaurant that appear as popular with locals as it is with guests, so it feels busy and never has the deadened hush of other places where we've stayed....

The place exudes hip. Entrance to the hotel can vary from calm mid day with chesterfield sofas and a fireplace to the ground zero of an over-the-top drinks scene on Sat eve. While the bar crowd can seem a bit over the top, the rooms are tomb quiet, clean, fun decor, great bathrooms, good beds and bedding. The little touches...

The Hoxton is a very affordable modern hotel in a great neighborhood in London. We stayed here three nights and loved the fact it came with free breakfast. It wasnt much just yogurt, banana, and OJ, but it did the job. The rooms are all the same size maybe 200 sq feet, but since your in London you should not...

I love this hotel and the other reviews say it all. A few things to add after my second stay here: The showers are big (huge by London standards). The Hoxton has an agreement with a gym about 2 blocks away that gives guests access to their pool and other facilities. The pool is is a full 25 meters and...

Spacious, comfortable room (even space for a chaise longue!) - nice and quiet, despite being above a busy bar and restaurant. Love the breakfast in a bag which was plenty to keep us going til lunchtime. The fresh milk in the fridge was also a great touch. They really seem to have thought of every detail (even a half decent...

We stayed at the Hoxton Hotel on a sunday night for a very reasonable rate. We were welcomed warmly by a very friendly FOH member of staff. The room was a decent size and was clean. Great little extras much appreciated included fresh milk and a breakfast pack. The hairdryer in the room was handy too. The bathroom was great...

The Hoxton is a modern, relaxed, warm and hospitable hotel in a vibrant neighbourhood. Nice places to eat and drink nearby (or downstairs in bar or lounge area with fireplace) and the tube not far either. Clean rooms (all the same space) and very friendly staff. From time to time they give out rooms for 1 GBP is a flash...

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighbourhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbour can result in fascinating outcomes.
