This is a lovely little townhouse hotel just off Russell Square and is a really good example of olde-English charm and quaintness. I was only here for one night but my room, 'Lords', was lovely with artefacts and pictures from the home of cricket decorating the walls of the room. The hotel was very clean throughout and breakfast was served...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 15 November 2016

I stayed at this hotel for business purposes and was pleasantly surprised at both size of the room and its calm location with a garden view. The standards of non-luxury hotels in London is often quite low but this was an exception: Clean, large room, quiet and comfortable bed. I had quite a bit to do with the staff as...

Grange Hotels are small, boutique hotels which provide elegant touches at a superior value. Friendly service is excellent-- at 21:00 our TV turned on, but had no picture. Two minutes later a young man found that a cable was detached: "probably occurred during cleaning". This episode attests to the fact that quick service is important as well as cleanliness. Very...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Great location and nice room however it was very hot and stuffy . The outside temperature was around 17 degrees on the days we went- so warm but not hot but we had the fan on during the night. I imagine it being horribly stuffy in the summer! Breakfast was ok but felt it was...

Stayed one night, very small room, even though we had a superior double!, mainly restricted to the structure of the building. Rooms are very noisy, so sleep is not guaranteed.... staff are very friendly and polite. Ideal for the British Museum as it's 100 yards away

We are sorry you were disappointed with your stay, but hope that you will return on a future occasion to one of our other hotels in the area. The majority of guest reviews find the hotel to be quiet and in a quiet location.

Perfect for a short weekend stay. The location is perfect - just behind British Museum. Easy to walk to attractions. Close to parks. Located in a quiet area with silent rooms. The breakfast room, is your typical English dining room with heavy furniture, bookshelves and fireplace. Oh, and you typical English breakfast.

I'm well aware that it's incredibly difficult to get a great hotel in London. I've stayed in overpriced alleged 5 star hotels and wondered how they ever got the stars for it. Grange Blooms is a very decent very nice little hotel, just behind the British Museum ( which for my purposes of research and work was pretty perfect). Nothing...
