We enjoyed very nice location along Jubilee Line, and a large relaxing room for the money we had paid. very recommendable to budget conscious travelers who wish to experience some atmosphere of old English pubs.

Called the hotel with short notice (half an hour!!) they had a room. Guy was very helpful and told us he would find a few place park for the night when we dropped our bags, I thought he's got to be mistaken, he wasn't!! 5 minute walk from the hotel was free until 10am the next morning. Staff were very...

Thank you for sharing your comments about your stay with us at the Black and Lion and it is great to hear our staff were helpful. That is disappointing to hear about the noise level from the room next door, however for future stays please do let us know if you have any concerns and our staff will be on...

Staff are friendly, the bar looks nice in keeping with old London style pubs. The rooms are not great and the bathrooms are tiny. The breakfast is poor. It's quite cheap for London though. I would only stay here if other places are booked up.

Great location very near tube stations, bus stop just seconds away from the door. An inexpensive place to stay. The rooms themselves where very large and clean. The pub was very nice to have a drink in.

We ate a meal here with friends but were not guests in the guesthouse. Lovely bar area with fabulous windows, lots of light , comfortable seating and oodles of atmosphere. Had a burger which was pretty good. They had a 2 for 1 deal which kept the cost down. Not far from Kilburn underground.

The hotel is good for budget travel of quick stays. The room was spacious and it overlooked a park. It was calm. The bed, the cupboard and the bathroom seemed old fashioned but to me that added to the taste. My only concern was the area itself. It looks like a below average residential area.

A friend of mine stays at this guesthouse... I was looking for something a bit more budget as I was staying in the city whilst I worked in London. Being a bit of a brand freak I would never even consider staying anywhere but I took my friends advice and found this hotel to be cheap, cheerful, clean and hospitable....
