I have stayed at the Glenlyn twice. On our first visit the room was more modern and the bathroom was in good condition. On the second visit our room was furnished with well worn antiques and the tub had some water damage and the toilet did not flush well. The rooms are clean and adequate. When I am in London... More

The hotel is little dated and could do with a bit of a makeover. A few little signs of wear and tear. Chips in the enamel in the bath and in the sink. Dent in the bathroom door and veneer peeling off a chest of drawers. There was a hot iron mark on the carpet and a few tea stains... More

I had contacted the hotel prior to my stay, enquiring as to whether or not they would be able to offer disabled access. They ensured me that my stay would be comfortable and would be adjusted with my needs in mind. I believed them, in good faith. I also requested for the hotel to provide a taxi company that would... We booked a ground floor room and were allocated number 28, the room was fine for the price but the TV wouldn't work, anyway after a couple of visits to reception the owner/manager came to look and decided to move us and asked if an upgrade to apartment would be ok - and it sure was! The apartment was large... More

A family run hotel that is lovely and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful and available 24 hours a day. There is a wide choice for breakfast. Daily room clean, fresh towels etc. Short walking distance from underground station/buses into central London.

Very friendly old fashioned hotel in a beautiful building and setting. But of a tight squeeze around the bed although plenty of room elsewhere. My only quibble is the bar which had no draft beers or lager only bottles . This necessitated a walk to the Tally Ho which was brill as I had a good laugh with the lads... More

Stayed here for one night...room was on first floor..very nice room overlooking garden...reception staff very friendly....room was very comfortable..except for the hard pillows..we found them too hard, but that's just our preference...the breakfast was very good ,lovely choice and plentiful....the only reason didn't get full marks...was because of the group of schoolgirls staying with teachers...who thought shouting in corridor till 11.30... Great hotel with excellent customer service, very clean rooms. We are a family of 3 and we stayed for 1 night in the family room, which was great in all respects. It is often difficult to get free parking in London and this hotel provides free parking and free wifi. Our price also included breakfast. The breakfast was excellent and... More

The receptionist was very nice on arrival. I was disappointed as they didn't serve food in the eve after arriving late. I had called and was told it was 24/7 but must've been a miscommunication. The room was basic but functional and clean. The faux wooden floor made us be conscious of the noise. Replacing the room doors would be... More

A very pleasant hotel in a good position just off the High Street. On arrival to the hotel we had a warm welcome and asked if would mind if we had a upgrade in to one of the apartment so we said we didn't mind. They took our details and the cars reg for the free parking on site. The... More
