The guest house is ok, the rooms are a little tatty, and believe me I have stayed in most of them! The staff are very helpful and friendly, especially the reception staff. The chamber maids do their best but I have had a ladies used razor behind my bathroom sink all week, so god knows how long it's been there?...

The Glenlyn Hotel is pleasant but not glamarous. My experience was mixed. The radiator in my first room wasn't working so I moved to a new room. Light bulbs in the table lamps in the second room weren't working. The hotel staff was very accomodating in helping me to solve these issues and to lend me a UK-US electrical adapter....

Stayed for 1 night. Staff very polite and the lounge/dining room were clean. My room was very dark and full of miss matched furniture, I couldn't help but feel the whole place needed a good scrub. The bed was actually very comfy and I did have a good night's sleep. The breakfast was very warm and cooked well. All in...

I have stayed at the Glenlyn twice. On our first visit the room was more modern and the bathroom was in good condition. On the second visit our room was furnished with well worn antiques and the tub had some water damage and the toilet did not flush well. The rooms are clean and adequate. When I am in London...

The hotel is little dated and could do with a bit of a makeover. A few little signs of wear and tear. Chips in the enamel in the bath and in the sink. Dent in the bathroom door and veneer peeling off a chest of drawers. There was a hot iron mark on the carpet and a few tea stains...

I had contacted the hotel prior to my stay, enquiring as to whether or not they would be able to offer disabled access. They ensured me that my stay would be comfortable and would be adjusted with my needs in mind. I believed them, in good faith. I also requested for the hotel to provide a taxi company that would...

We booked a ground floor room and were allocated number 28, the room was fine for the price but the TV wouldn't work, anyway after a couple of visits to reception the owner/manager came to look and decided to move us and asked if an upgrade to apartment would be ok - and it sure was! The apartment was large...

A family run hotel that is lovely and clean. Staff are friendly and helpful and available 24 hours a day. There is a wide choice for breakfast. Daily room clean, fresh towels etc. Short walking distance from underground station/buses into central London.

Very friendly old fashioned hotel in a beautiful building and setting. But of a tight squeeze around the bed although plenty of room elsewhere. My only quibble is the bar which had no draft beers or lager only bottles . This necessitated a walk to the Tally Ho which was brill as I had a good laugh with the lads...
