Booked this hotel for a business trip, guest arrived after a long day / train journey to be allocated a "harry potter under the stairs" sized room with no carpe right next to the kitchen. Granted the description says "small cabin sized room" but this is definitely not worthy of 4 star rating - they are making £85/£100 a night...

The manager has after 2 months still not refunded 2 nights (I checked out because of very bad room). After 4 different promises and as many excuses from the manager I consider this money as lost. Totally bogus, stay away. Sluggish receptionistst. My room (cabin) was extremely small and claustrophobic, really bad choice in summer lacking A/C! Free floor area...

We stayed at the Hotel Cavendish on Monday night this week. We found it very easily and it's only a 5 minute walk from Goodge Street station, in a very nice area. We got checked in and out room was ready around 10 minutes later. We booked a triple room for ourselves and our 6 year old son. In the...

I booked 2 rooms here in July, for 3 nights. A double for me and my wife, and a single for my nephew. I was asked to pay the full amount (£630) when we arrived. I booked through Booking.com, as I always have done in recent years. We went to our rooms (carrying the cases up the stairs as there...

This hotel was okay and it worked well the two nights we stayed there. Unfortunately me managed to time the hottest days in London and this hotel did not have air condition. We were given a room on the ground floor as this was said to be the coolest. It was still very hot but I suspect that in comparison...

The hotel was in a great location right near both Goodge Street and Russell Square station. The breakfast was good at the girls at breakfast were very helpful. The rooms were made up daily. The bad however outweighs the good. The hotel is supposed to have a 24 hour reception, when we arrived at 1.30am after a late arrival of...

I had to travel at short notice to London and needed a hotel in this location. I ended up paying 212E for a single bedroom up in the attic with the dodgiest bathroom ever! The room was small, dark, torn curtain, filthy remote control, noisy and 53 steps up in the attic! only positive was nice staff ! might have...

visiting London, we found the hotel to be traditionally decorated, clean, respectable, very helpful reception (allowing us to keep luggage in reception even on the last day so we could enjoy the rest of the day without lugging baggage) the hotel room had good facilities, however the traffic was very heavy on the main road very early in the morning....
