We stayed 4 days in Gloucester Place Hotel and we were very pleased with it. The rooms were lovely and very confortable. We took a room for 4 people. Definitely worthy and another aspect to mention is the location of the hotel; very centric. The price was okay and the staff was very nice. Breakfast is good to, although maybe...

Budget hotel with everything you need in the very center of London. 10 min on foot to Baker street and museums, 10 min to Oxford Street, Marble Arch and to trendy Marylebone. Helpful staff, modern rooms and very reasonable prices. Will definitely stay again on my next business trip.

I had booked a superior room as this was a special weekend for my partner and I. On arriving in the room it was a total disappointment, it was very large but looked very drab and could have done with a slap of paint and the awful pictures taken down, It had tacky ornaments in the room including a gold...

Ok so this hotel isn't the most modern hotel ive stayed in, im fact it felt quite 1970/1980's cheap. But as we were only sleeping there for one night i could get past the dated dingy reception area and the aroma of pizza around the place. We were im room 17 which was the 4th floor. If i were you...

We booked the hotel through Expedia for a visit to the capital to join in the Chinese New Year Celebrations on Sunday. We spent all day and late evening in and around Trafalgar Square and arriving at our Hotel around 20.00hrs. We had a good sized family room - 1 double bed, 1 single plus en-suite - including bath with shower over. Very comfortable though hot until we turned off bathroom radiator (February and freezing outside!) Used the AC unit in the room to cool it down when we first arrived! Quite in terms of road noise as room faced into...

The hotel is situated in a quite boring residential area, about 10 min walk to Marble Arch underground and Oxford street, or if you walk the other way, 10 min to Baker Street. The traffic on the road outside the hotel is pretty heavy, so if you are a light sleeper ask for a room facing the back of the...

Huge room on ground floor of house next door, original features, high ceilings, large bathroom, warm (it was freezing outside). Perfectly located for an early start in central London. Didn't eat breakfast as left too early but the guy setting up was friendly enough. The receptionist the evening before was really nice and very helpful. The only drawback was the...

I booked a room well in advance on the 1st floor for my wife and sister. They were arriving early in the morning so I had booked the night before as well so they could go straight to their room upon arrival. When they arrived they were told that room was occupied and the people were checking out that day...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
