Pros: Cheap price for rooms. Great Location. Wonderful security. Close to Tube stations of Russel Square and Kings Cross. The British Museum is nearby too. A lot of London University of London Schools are close by; UCL, SOAS, Birkbeck, LSHTM etc. Cons: Overpriced food; extremely overpriced and the food isn't as great as the one I got at "the Valencia"...

Hello Melkuut, We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and have shared your points with our management team. Unfortunately it is not easy to simply install more outlets in the rooms but it is something we are looking into. This is why we have outlets under the seats in our cafe and chill out rooms or our...

everything was in balance, cleanliness, price, location, service .... We would definitely come back, or even use their Generator Hotel Berlin. Just a pity, at the check out, they didn't asked me if I needed a copy (settlement), which was indeed the case, too justify may stay.

(Im sorry for my English) I visit Londen with my girlfriend and mother. The toilets and showers are really clean and always hot water. Ive been in more hostels but never saw a bathroom this clean as in the generator. Also the rooms are really clean. The atmosphere is good and it looks like a hostel. There are a few...

Location is safe and secure. Room is basic to say the least, well it is a hostel. But, a room for two should have two chairs, not one. Toilets and showers were exceptionally clean and tidy - recently refurbished. Breakfast redefines the word "buffet": Watery juice, foul tasting coffee and a choice of cereal OR cereal bar OR croissant OR...

This is a great hostel for those looking to meet other travellers in the 20s-30s. I was in a 13 bed room and it was really good. You get a locker, but bring your own padlock. Showers were always hot and clean. And the bar was so much fun. The cons of this place are that you have to pay...

We stayed in a private room with four bunk beds and four people. It was really tight. The windows leaked, water came through every morning. Condensation was coming down the walls from poor ventilation. The bathrooms wouldn't flush at night and two out of four stalls didn't lock. We stayed on the 5th floor. It seemed like the worst one...

Hi AngelaBrough166, Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we had not had any other reports of water coming in the rooms and will check this straight away. Over Christmas our common areas were busier than usual as many shops and attractions were closed, so many of our guests chose to stay at the hostel. Best wishes, Generator London.

Booked an 8 bed room and requested a room away from street noise. I ended up in a 10 bed room right next door to the night entrance. No power sockets or night lights anywhere near the bed. Cleanliness of bed sheets was questionable too. Location and other facilities at the hostel were ok though.
