Getting there
Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Great little hotel, walking distance from St Pancras so could drop off/pick up bags when arrived/left. Guy on reception very helpful and friendly, quick checkin.
We were in a basement room, plenty of space but only grumble was no bedside lights and no mirror in room which would have made it a bit lighter! There was a mirror in bathroom, so fine for hair/makeup etc. Bathroom very small, but functional.
Breakfast good, pre-ordered on arrival. Good value stay for London, very quiet.

The Regency is in a tall old townhouse. The ceilings are high, which means a lot of stairs have to be climbed, and there are 4 floors including what was clearly the servants quarters on the top floor. That will be a problem for some. The double beds are 2 singles laid side by side on 2 single box springs laid the other way. It worked but barely and the bed was very hard - good for those who like to feel they are sleeping on the floor. Because I was on the top floor, I found it quite quiet although I was aware of the floor squeaking everytime I walked. Sorry people below me! The bathroom was surprisingly large and very clean. The room had a microwave and small fridge with freezer. I was offered breakfast in my room, which was great but limited my choice of food and came with no salt, pepper, etc which were no doubt on the tables in the dining room. Definitely a room for one person. The hidden garden in the back is a gem and I highly recommend people check it out.

We found bedbugs The horror of what ruined our stay Despite the welcome and taking into account the change of hotel further from the planned visits In addition I asked for anti-bug product or access to cleaning, no solution offered and in the other hotel we no longer had breakfast, we were offered to return there every morning for a 35 minute drive. We definitely didn't want to go back there. Absolutely getaway hotel

I booked to stay at this accommodation in July 2020, along with many other hotels all apart of a European holiday coming from Australia. Of course, COVID did not allow for these plans to continue. This hotel is the ONLY hotel to not provide me with either a refund or credit voucher that can be used in the future. They provided a credit voucher that HAS to be used by July 2021. It is not possible to do so especially with the state the UK is in with dealing with the pandemic. I have kindly explained this via email and they refuse to extend the voucher. Almost 2k was spent on this hotel and they cant provide me with a solution. I understand not giving refunds, however giving a credit voucher that can be actually be used when the pandemic is over is the right thing to do. Every other hotel in Europe (5+) was understanding and accommodating. Not this one. Really disappointing as they have not replied to my last two emails clearly explaining this. My parents referred me to this hotel so its really disappointing to have to come to this.

Dear Ms. Giakoumelo, Thank you for booking with us and taking the time to share your review. I found this review only seen from travelers’ perspective and unfair to both sides! While Covid is neither our nor travelers’ fault Ms. Giakoumelo chose to book a Non-refundable Non-Amendable reservation to stay on 20th-24th July 2020. Acknowledging the travelers’ request we made a goodwill gesture and amended the reservation for 18-22nd July 2020, and then 2nd amendment to stay on 16th-20th July 2020. Also, we have kept this Non-amendable booking open for 12 months and provided a credit voucher for 12months up until July 2021 which doesn’t seem to be appreciated. 29 e-mails have been exchanged since the booking was made clearly explaining (can provide screenshots) that, we are providing vouchers and keeping bookings open for up to 12 months however, Non-refundable Non-Amendable reservations we won’t be able to keep open into the unforeseeable future. Thank you once again for your time and feel free to get in touch if there is anything we can assist you with. Kind Regards, Miro Ognyanov Reception

I stayed here for two nights to be able to attend a student weekend event at a nearby university. The room was small but this was expected from my research prior to booking. The room had all that I needed in it, and even had a microwave and fridge in the wardrobe which I've not come across before and despite not needing it, I thought this might be helpful for other guests. I also received a free bottle of water on the first nights stay, although not sure why this wasn't repeated for the second night? There were tea/coffee making facilities, a tv and a hairdryer was provided too. The small bathroom consisted of a shower, toilet and sink and provided free miniature toiletries of shower gel, shampoo and soap. The breakfast was great and there were menus on the table offering a variety of options. Everything is served to you so there isn't a help yourself buffet for drinks or toast, as the room is also very small. The staff were all lovely too.

The hotel is located on an unsociable and busy thoroughfare. The room was very small and the bathroom even smaller if possible with a tiny fountain as sink.... Outdated hotel. Breakfast reasonable but breakfast room far too tight for all guests. Overall, a somewhat disappointing experience for a quite expensive stay.

Our rooms are regularly maintained to ensure a comfortable stay, and we aim to provide accurate representations in our photos. We understand the importance of temperature control in the room, and we do everything we can to ensure heating and air conditioning are in working order. After checking into the hotel, which looked very nice from the outside, we saw very small black dots on the completely worn wallpaper that barely remained on the walls. Looked closer under a wall molding just above the head pillows, saw little live bugs in all the joints. Called the hotel manager who came and looked, no apology or pity but just said he would find a new room which he did, at the top of an even smaller and even more worn out room now ended up. The beds are so old/worn and dirty without any headboard protection and the carpets in the room you don't want to think about what they contain. The only positives are the breakfast and a reasonably good location. Not worth the price.

Lovely time spent here. Room clean with hot water and heating. Air con also available if needed. Staff very friendly and thanks to Miro for his hospitality. Breakfast was excellent. Self contained room meant we were able to prepare a basic meal and keep itens in fridge. Great location and only a short walk from Euston Station, and 5 mins to Fitzrovia with bars, shops, restaurants and the underground.
Would go back as couldn't fault.

The hotel is in a great location. Unfortunately, that great location is apparently really attractive to bedbugs as well as people. We checked in to Room 7 (in the basement, right next to the breakfast area at the bottom of the stairs), and when we arrived back after dinner we found bugs all over the pillows, the sheets - everywhere.
The front desk did refund our money, but now we're heading to a new place at 12:30 in the morning, so I can't recommend this to anyone. STAY AWAY.

Hello,
Thank you for your interest
The best option for you would be to book our superior room which can be arranged with twin beds and it is located on the lower ground floor, only 15 steps to climb or descend.
Our triple room is located on the second floor and the other room that can be twin is located on the third floor.
Kind Regards
Reception
Good Morning
The price of a taxi is between £45-£65, it depends on how many luggage and type of car. Please be advised that we do not offer pick up service from airports, only from the hotel to the airports; You have to call/book a cab upon arrival at Heathrow.
About your bags, we only offer to keep the luggage on c/in and c/out days and when the guest is staying in the hotel. We cannot keep luggage if the guest is away because we do not have a storage room.
Regards
Reception Team
