Have been for a drink in the very trendy and lively Refuel bar a few times, but never stayed before, decided to stay last weekend... it was perfect, the reception is so welcoming, the room was absolutely just right and the staff were so attentive, the meal in the restaurant that evening was again perfect, and the breakfast was probably...

Each time I go to London I stay in the Soho Hotel and each time is as good as the last. I have stayed in various Firmdale hotels, and they are all very good, but the Soho is my favourite. It is in a fantastic location, walking distance to Chinatown, Covent Garden, Regent and Oxford Streets, the theatres, not to...

I have been going to the Firmdale Hotels since they opened and I am a big fan. But The Soho Hotel is definitely my favorite one in London ( as the Crosby Street in New York is my favorite NY hotel ) . Everything about this hotel is what you expect and hope for in a luxury city hotel :...

Phenomenal location, walking distance to Chinatown, Covent Garden, Oxford Street and theatre, but what's really nice about this hip hotel is the service is above impeccable from the doorman, to check in, to room service - all lovely. The bathrooms are larger than some hotel rooms in NYC, I hated to come out, and I adore the heated towel racks....

I stayed with my kids ( albeit they are 20 , 18 , 15 and 13) here for 3 nights , we had 3 rooms which in fact were all suites and all quite large. Furnishings excellent , not noisy in any way and the room service was quick and efficient. Me and my wife would have preferred to stay...

I stayed several times at The Soho and still love to be back. Even after trying most of the other Firmdale's hotels I prefer this one. Lively and still with a home-feeling, contemporary and cosy. Great location, professional and friendly staff. Right balance between keeping the hotel safe and be welcomming. I appreciate that all the obvious is as it...

The Soho, like several of Firmdale's hotels has its own screening rooms in the basement and the smaller theatre with its cow-hide armchairs is just the right place to give guests a stunning night at the movies. We used it to screen Skyfall to an excited group of 35 or so and prior to the film we had used the...

what an amazing hotel, this has to be THE place to stay in London. Comfortable, stylish and so very quiet for being right in the middle of Soho. What makes this hotel is the staff, friendly, smiley, nothing too much trouble. There is a really relaxed vibe, so unlike other stuffy hotels in this price range. this will now be...

We booked a Junior Suite and were not disappointed. I have stayed at The Covent Garden Hotel in the past and kind of knew what to suspect but was still pleasantly suprised. I mentioned that it was my 50th birthday and they offered a bottle of Champagne in the lounge along with some pre dinner nibbles. The room was large...

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
