I've stayed at Grove Guest House before and every time it is like going home! The atmosphere in the house is filled with warmth and every one should feel the most welcome guest when entering this property. There are two rooms one can book: the so-called blue room, the most charming and lovely accomodation you'd find in east london or...

Me and my husband have stayed at the Grove Guest House twice now, and each time we have a excellent stay. Hazel couldn't do a better job that she is doing. She is friendly, positive, helpful and just lovely. She really makes you feel welcome. The Grove Guest House is close to the centre of London and right next to...

Grove Guest House is a beautiful old Victorian house on a lovely street in Forest Gate. It is close to the tube station for all connections into London. Hazel is a lovely person and made us feel very welcome during our stay. She served a very tasty breakfast each morning and couldn't do enough to help us during our stay....

The title of this review comes from a message that welcomes you at Hazel's Grove Guest. And it perfectly describes what happens when you discover this place. This is what happened to me when I discover this place by accident two years ago. Hazel's house is full of history, love and joy. It's a pleasure to spend time in Forest...

Finally getting around to reviewing this, having stayed there 3 months ago in late summer... Hazel's place is in a cosmopolitan east London neighborhood just a couple of train stops east of the Olympic park area. It's a small place, only a couple or three rooms available for rent, but I happened to time it well. The hostess is full...

Thank you for your lovely review - I think you covered some really useful points for first time travelers. I the majority of my guests are here because they want to experience living in a London home (apparently there is a Japanese blog about it!) - and they love the fact that the house is 1860's - the guys who...

Hazel was a great source of information about places to go. We had privacy when we needed it and the dinners were a great source of conversation across cultures. Even took my sister on a ride of her haunts when I was not feeling well. Hazel has a place in my heart. Enduring and welcoming.

Grove Guest House is that sort of place you want to return to again and again. Located within walking distance from Forest Gate station makes it easily accessible from the city. The rooms are homey and cozy, and Hazel as the world's best host will make you feel right at home. I love coming here and will definitely be back!

I stayed at the Grove Guest House for six nights. It has originally furnished rooms, your own options for a generous breakfast, a relaxing garden, a warm and caring hostess and is near all necessary communications. If you want to stay in a tourist trap: Do so! If you wan't to stay in London: Stay here!

My son and I have stayed in 2015 & 2016 when we visited the Anniversary Games at the Olympic Stadium and also finding places in Bromley-by-Bow and Islington where our ancestors lived in the early-mid 19th century.
