We stayed here recently when the weather was very warm. We booked at short notice as we discovered that the original hotel we booked did not have air conditioning whereas the Westbridge does, and this was one of the positives of staying there. Other than that it was pretty average, the room and bathroom was small, the room carpets did not look very clean - on the second day we asked for our room to be cleaned in the morning and returned at 4pm to find it had not been done, so had to ask again. The room also looked like it could really benefit from refurbishment /investment, and was not like those shown on the hotel website. The worst thing about the stay was that our room was next to the 1st floor lift, a through-way for most guests and very noisy, we were kept awake until 2am one night. Good points - handy for the ABBA Voyage arena, and a lounge you can sit in to have a drink upstairs - however their small bar was limited as to what you can buy. Staff were friendly, and breakfasts quite good - overall, okay value for London but nothing spectacular, not sure I would return.…
Stayed here for one night for the Abba Voyage concert. On our arrival the lady at the desk was friendly and helpful. We had room 1, the Queen Elizabeth suite, which was lovely - large room with comfortable bed, good air con, nicely furnished, in the older part of the hotel at the front. Very near the Abba Arena, just a few minutes on a path that went straight there. Unfortunately a combination of me being a light sleeper, the busy 4-lane road right outside the hotel, and the single glazing in the room meant that I had a terrible night, so did my other half who isn't such a light sleeper as me. I had read some reviews warning of this, so I wish we'd stayed in the rear of the hotel where I don't imagine it would be a problem, but the rooms at the front looked nicer. I would recommend this hotel but if you are a light sleeper please don't be swayed by the fancy rooms at the front, go for one at the back!…
Lovely room with nice touches. Really comfy bed, and peaceful room. We liked the mini showergels, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, and the choice of drinks in cluding bottled water. Lotus biscuits are my favourite, could do with more as one biscuit each. TV had loads of channels. The air con was excellent and easily adjustable which was very helpful as there was an amber warning for the heatwave! We liked the area on the first floor where you could sit out. Breakfast was great - full english although black pudding could be added. The croissants were proper ones, really good. Reception staff were really helpful. We did this on Tesco clubcard, and a had a wander around London, such a treat!
Stayed with a group of friends for 2 nights last week for the Abba Concert. Excellent location for our visit. Ten minute walk to the The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium. We also went to the West End for a show which was a short walk to tube station, 7 stops to Theatre area. The Hotel itself was modern & clean. Small courtyard to sit & have a few drinks. We didnt have breakfast but it was available. Only downside was there were no spirits available in hotel bar only wine & beer, however this did not spoil the stay by any means, just an observation. Now for the staff..exceptional. All of them, no matter what time of day or night they were so friendly & informative. Nothing was ever too much trouble. An absolute credit to this hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
We booked this hotel as it was close to the arena where the ABBA voyager show was on. We got it at a really good price. Was literally a slow 15 minute dander from the coach station and tube station and Westfield shopping centre. It was a slow dander as it was 28 degrees and one of our girls was pregnant, plus we weren't in a hurry. Same distance to the arena Beautiful , clean hotel. Staff so helpful and friendly. Gorgeous courtyard to sit in and enjoy the weather We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. You get a voucher to use in nearby restaurants which will give you discount Rooms were spotless and good quality toiletries provided. Nice big bathsheets also provided. Choice of tea coffee and hot chocolate as well as a kettle and a few biscuits provided. Room had a fridge with 2 complimentary bottles of water Really central to West end. 7 stops on the tube from the station. 40 minutes from Stansted Airport Very limited bar. No spirits for sale. All beers, ciders and cocktails in cans or bottles. We took our own spirits and they didn't seem to mind. If we go back we will most definitely stay here…
We stayed here, along with some friends for the ABBA Voyage concert. The hotel was immaculate, the staff were lovely and the breakfast delicious. Thank you for making our trip so fantastic!! #westbrige10
#westbridge10 My husband and I stayed last night with another couple to see the ABBA Voyage concert. Had the most amazing time. Rooms are lovely and clean, breakfast was great with a fab selection. All the staff were great as well. Happy 10th Anniversary
Check in was quick with efficient friendly staff….comfortable room, (nice to have a fridge) ….. pillows were lovely and soft……..had a quiet nights sleep…………Breakfast was really good too, lot of choice!! …………………………………….Thankyou all 👍☑️
Staff very helpful as we asked for a room that wasn’t in the basement. A very comfy bed in both rooms!! A quiet well organised breakfast room that offered a wide range of items for breakfast. Loved the courtyard but it could do with lighting at night. I would definitely stay here for its location to a nearby train station into the centre of London and the quality of stay. Thank you!!
We stayed here with friends for 4 nights . Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Comfortable beds and cleanliness excellent. Only thing thought bathroom a bit small but it was modern and clean. Breakfast was good and for a buffet lovely and fresh. Ran out of bacon and one of staff brought over on a plate to our table when it was ready . Great place to stay if going to abba 10 mins away . Would definitely recommend and stay again myself.
