I spent a long weekend at the Lancaster with my cousin, we arrived before allocated check in time and waited in the hotel lobby while the receptionist checked to see if our room was available, thankfully it was and she kindly checked us in early (7am flight from Dublin meant we were zombies and probably looked like we needed a...

The service and breakfast were wonderful. They were very helpful with directions and schedules. Breakfast options were huge and delicious. Our room was clean, small, and a hike to get to. But, we were in shape for the challenge!

Great location for exploring London. I stayed on business and the room was huge; lots of space and very clean. The hotel is a bit of a maze in terms of corridors and stairs but service was great and breakfast good so would definitely return.

This hotel was a real find and in a great location for the West End, SoHo and Covent Garden etc. I booked for two nights in a superior double as I wanted en-suite facilities (not all rooms have it). The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and the bath/shower had plenty of hot water and power plus all the usual...

I stayed in a triple room with my two children. Booking - I made my reservation online but did not receive my confirmation email so called an hour later to enquire. Was advised that my booking had not gone through, despite the funds being held on my credit card. In the meantime the room had gone. Being that the reservation...

I've stayed at the Lancaster on many occasions over the years. It's the cheapest of the Grange set on Bedford Place, largely because the rickety Georgian house doesn't really permit ensuite bathrooms. So, shared toilets it is, with two for every three rooms or so. The in-room shower is a bit weird, but it does work well and you get...

Close to Russell Square and Holborn station, Covent Garden, British Museum ... walking distance to many attractions. Around 5 rooms sharing bathroom (W and M don't share). Small room, friendly staff. The bed is not the best.

The room was very clean and quite. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The location is simply amazing, just few minutes from Holborn station and the British museum, that is why we picked this hotel. It is good for families and couples. Recommended for business trips or gateway weekends.

Staff were very friendly, room was big if a bit dated, hotel is in need of a make over! Breakfast was basic continental breakfast but enjoyed it and set us up for a busy day, good location in a quiet street would definitely try out another grange hotel.
