I stayed here recently during a trip to London. Basic facilities in the room which is reflected in the price, however spotlessly clean throughout. All staff I met were friendly and very helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
The hotel is located right outside the city center (it's a short walk to the Tower Bridge, for example), very close to Aldgate East and Whitechapel tube stations, with a bus stop right outside the building. In the area there are also shops of every...More

Room small. Awoken at 2am to someone trying to break into our room for 45 minutes. Kicking the door. Reception didn't answer the phone. Due to knife crime in London and the person trying to break in hiding resulted in my partner having to leave...More
Hotel is in easy reach of Whitechapel and Aldgate/Aldgate East Stations, however the area of Whitechapel is a bit run down and doesn't feel very safe. Hotel is close to a small Tesco and many small shops. Also connected by many bus routes.
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a
cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
