What a wonderful experience we had staying at the home of our gracious host, Margaret & Simon. We felt welcomed and a true party of their family. The food was delicious ( fresh ingredient which were important to us) and very accommodating. It was a first trip to London for my son and girlfriend with everybody being ready to return...

In Aug 2012, I found this very lovely B&B and visited London for the very first time. Then I totally loved it and I came back here again in Jan 2013. Once you stay here, you will not be able to think about any other place in London! It’s centrally located in a very beautiful and quiet area. Then very...

I stayed at At Home Inn Chelsea for 10 days this September, and loved pretending that this lovely home in beautiful Chelsea was MY home during my time in London. We spent 3 days here while on our UK trip last month. Excellent location (Chelsea is loaded with great restaurants and it's an easy bus/tube trip into the city), good breakfast, comfy, neat kitty, not overpriced. Margaret and Simon went out of their way to be helpful and they were fun to talk to, too!

We, my mum and I, stayed in the room under the roof and it was lovely. Small but really beautiful. Getting around and having dinner was easy with all the tips we got from Margaret. So all in all a wonderful place to start in the day (especially after having great scrambled eggs - prepared from Simon :-)

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
