I do not usually write poor reviews, as I've never really had an experience like this before anywhere in the world. 1) I stayed in room 106. Woke up to a number of welts on my arms running in lines which, once researched, immediately looked like bed bug bites. Terrible. 2) The air conditioning was broken, and the room was...

I booked this to be near a course I was taking in London. I couldn't afford the hotel the course was in (£600+ per night). I have a few issues which meant I had to find a hotel close to my ultimate location rather than staying outside of the area and catching the tube in. After reviewing AirBNB and deciding...

Location of hotel good for the sights, bare basic in the room. You really pay for what you get. Basement rooms very small, not noises once you shut the windows. Staff very polite, and helpful. Good English breakfast ,cereals, prunes, grapefruit, various juices, fresh fruit available, hot coffee on tap. Beds comfy .they kept the room tidy for us. They could...

On 2014 i stayed in Bloomsbury Palace Hotel, it was a very good place with a good breakfast, but this year, it was more expensive, the room was the smallest bedroom i've ever stayed before. and the breakfast wasn't included. The location is good, you have underground stations near there, and you can walk to many touristic attractions. Also you...

After reading some shocking reviews I was concerned so was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The staff were all polite and helpful, it was a close walk from Euston station with Regent St and Covent gardens within easy distance! We were too early for check in but left luggage at hotel and went off sightseeing on return check in...

Although the location on Gower st is superb (close to all key attractions- Whitehall - Camden market - British museum- Soho etc ) after a hard day shopping the last thing you want or need is a room without a view. For a 4* establishment this place was awful. Front of house staff tried there best to prepare me for...

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
