Nice price, great location right by Victoria station, clean room, and extremely friendly and helpful desk staff. However.. the room was tiny, the lack of a window really gets to you, what they say about the aircon making loud restart noises is very true, and the (small) bed is rock hard! I didn’t sleep a wink!

Hotel staff were friendly. Room rate very good and location perfect for our stay. We were asked if we wanted to pay £5 more for a bigger double room which we did but I'm not sure how much bigger it gave us, it was very small. The room was clean and came with one of the best showers we have experienced in London hotels, full pressure and a great working hairdryer ! The only surprise we had was not having a window in the room. It did make you feel a little claustrophobic and unable to gauge night or day...Next time we will make sure we are given a room with a window. Would stay again at this hotel if we were visiting that area of town again.

Not impressed with the service. Booked a room for a friends birthday. Unfortunately my friend is unwell and so best not to go of course!!! Spoke to the hotel who said because it was within 48 hours they would not help. I said I was happy just to move the date but this was a no. They said I could still come with my ill friend!!! Great for everyone else!!! I didn’t want a refund - just a bit of flexible with everything happening. The hotel is not full and the prices have infact dropped. Very bad service and didn’t even try to help. Lesson learnt

We were meant to be staying here for our 10 year anniversary. We had booked train tickets, and theatre tickets too for our stay. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic we were forced to cancel our trip. This hotel refused to give us a refund?! Instead offering 50% off and trying to imply this was more than suitable given their rates are non refundable. I’m not sure they’ve seen the news and are aware the country AND WORLD is in crisis! They were in-personal, didn’t apologise and didn’t have any care. They also said they are only offering full refunds to customers from certain countries?! How is that fair? If you can’t travel, you can’t travel. End of. It makes NO DIFFERENCE where you come from. Although, I have since seen a review that someone else has had this problem and they are not from the UK? So now I think they are liars as well as greedy. I am so angry. If I could give 0 stars I would. I will never consider booking with Z Hotels again. I will also add that our train tickets and theatre tickets have been refunded in full. The government has also offered help to businesses during this difficult time so I don’t see any excuse they have for taking half of our money for a trip we cannot take. We’re out of pocket for trying to stay safe and healthy and this hotel does not care. Thanks for nothing

on the web site the directions could say how close it is to Victoria train station, which is as you come out of Buckingham Palace Road it is right opposite on the left hand side of the road 2min but for safety you have to go up to the crossing then back down the rooms are small but very clean and every thing is there that you would need don't think it is really big enough for 2 people well my husband would not have liked it but I was very happy with it yes I would use z hotels again didn't have breakfast easy book in and easy check out

Dear Gladys, Thank you for taking the time to review us on TripAdvisor. Prime location, lovely staff, comfort and cleanliness is out top priority here at Z Hotels and we are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us! We try to make our check in and out services as efficient as possible - we strongly believe that whatever little time you have to spend in this wonderful city, you should spend it exploring, and not stuck in reception. We are glad you found it easy 😊 Apologies, if you and your husband found our concept a tiny bit too small, however, as you mentioned, we use smart design to make sure that you will find everything you need here. However, we would like to recommend for your next visit to try and book one of our Queen rooms, as it is more spacious. We hope you had the chance to sign up for our membership programme to enjoy a discounted rates, as well as breakfast! We are looking forward to seeing you back here soon. Kind Regards, Simona Vasiliauskaite
