If you're looking to stay outside the hustle and bustle of central London but still want to easily reach it, this is a great choice. It's about 20-30 minutes by tube to central london. Nearby (5-10 minute walk) are many good restaurants and pubs to choose from as well as cafes's, groceries, and even some pretty hip shopping. We were...

A well run, clean, comfortable place with excellent hosts, David and Mary. It is a fairly short walk to the tube and not too far out of London. There is a variety of good restaurants in the nearby High street. We had the front room with ensuite.

We stayed at the 108 Streathbourne Road this summer, and it was our first B&B experience. The hosts Mary and David are extremely nice and polite , they made us breakfast in the morning which was great. They only have 2 rooms in the house so its a very personal environment. I wouldn't recommend it if you are after a...

What a fantastic B&B. Mary and David could not have been more helpful and hospitable. I arrived on a long flight and they were more than happy to make me feel relaxed, cosy and welcome. Every morning you wake up to a traditional English breakfast, newspapers and some English history. The beds are extremely comfortable and the rooms are spacious,...

Mary and David made our stay unforgettable as they were very nice and helpful every time we needed some informations/help. Mary cooked every day a delicious traditionally english breakfast for us, booked a taxi for us as we had an early morning flight back home, checked...

In August 2008 we were back to this comfortable B&B after discovering it in 2006. The house is absoltely beautiful. The period furniture, the arrangements and colours of excellent taste could be showcased in any magazine for interior design. Both rooms and bathrooms are comfortable, cosy and sort of romantic with their beautiful light coming through their pane windows; and...

We stayed with David and Mary at the beginning and at the end of our Europe Trip. Their location is great, close to the tube on the northern line. Both David and Mary went out of their way to be helpful. We arrived after 30 hours on the flight and our daughter had a terrible migraine, they helped tuck her...

Recently spent several days in London visiting our daughter and stayed at 108 Strathbourne Rd. Mary and David are down-to-earth decent people, amiable hosts, and basically a pleasure to be around. Their B&B is extremely comfortable, very clean, close to the tube, our room had lots of light and looked over a quiet leafy street. We are vegetarians, and Mary...

My husband and I have just spent a number of nights at 108 Streathbourne Road. We chose to stay there partly because of the good reviews on Tripadvisor and partly because it is located within easy commuting distance of our son and daughter, both of whom live in London. We could not recommend this B & B more highly. It...
