Highly recommended boutique hotel in the heart of London. We stayed there for 4 nights, late February. Stuff was extremely nice. We picked a roof top suite, which exceeded our expectations. Breakfast & location great too.

First and foremost I want to praise the service in this hotel. It is excellent - very considerate and friendly and makes your stay easy and pleasant. One great detail: you can borrow Oyster tube cards from the reception that makes your travelling around London both easier and cheaper. Our room was really small (as they often are in London)...

I had to stay here on business and found the staff to be exceptional! The room was very compact but great decor and well laid out, I often judge a hotel room by the quality of the shower and this one was superb! The inclusive breakfast was excellent and again the staff were very friendly. My only complaint, if I...

I stopped into club Zetter, The small cafe for breakfast. This is not a review for the hotel. I had some light breakfast here. They have many breakfast options in a cozy breakfast corner. The potted Greek yogurt was adorably served.

First of all we have been to London many times on business and for pleasure. The hotels have been expensive and basic, which has left us feeling underwhelmed. The Zetter is different. It is lovely, thoughtful in design and the staff are honestly exceptional. We were staying three nights, two for business and one for fun. It met all of...

I had the pleasure of staying here for one night, as I needed to use the meeting rooms at WallaceSpace on Clerkenwell Road the next day. I arrived a bit flustered carrying several bags, and Fabian on reception made me feel right at home. The room was lovely, clean, and I had a great nights sleep! Can't ask for much...

Stayed here as was a guest at party at the Zetter Townhouse to the rear. The Zetter has a reputation as one of the great original boutique hotels, and you can see why. Everything just works from the helpful receptionist staff through to the classy ‘cozy’ bedrooms with fab bathrooms (mine with a pretty big walk-in shower). I was on...

The location is spot on, right in the middle of happening Clerkenwell and really easy to get buses down to Tottenham Court Road and farther as well as Islington and Shoreditch. Far away from the mad West London tourist rush but close enough to get to every where you want to be. The hotel was was everything I expected but...

We stayed due a friends wedding and what a wonderful stay we had. Lovely, unique hotel with great, modern rooms and attentive staff. Food was also very good - we had lunch in the bar area when we arrived and breakfast the next day.

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
