My husband & I stayed here for three nights. We had read reviews of the hotel before we booked, so we were aware that the rooms were going to be small. However, once we checked in and went up to our room we discovered that the room was even smaller than we had expected. The room was clean, the owners...

we paid £55 for a double room on a sunday night in july, and the room (while tiny) was clean, and the en-suite bathroom was perfectly fine. amused and pleased by the complimentary (breakfast?) fruitbowl, and kettle with tea and coffee, but less so by the powdered milk (rather than liquid form) one thing that let it down - as...

I have stayed in expensive hotels in London (Marriott County Hall and Renaissance Chancery Court), and I would rather return to the Cherry Court Hotel @ 80 GBP for a triple than waste a lot of money or hotel points on a fancy hotel! My two adult daughters and I stayed at the Cherry Court Hotel for 3 nights before...

The Cherry Court Hotel ticked all the boxes for the perfect stay in London. It was cheap, clean, and with good transport links! The only 'issue' we had, was the shower in our first room, a triple (originally we were a group of three, but one dropped out), the shower head pointed to the wall, which made showering a little...

We stayed for 3 nights in late June. The service was very good - breakfast basket in our room each day (bananas, apples, orange juice packets, cookies, granola bars, and clementines), helpful directions and information for shopping/laundry mats, and help on getting onto their wireless network. The room was clean and the double bed pretty comfortable. We were on the...

Mrs. Patel is a happy, friendly host. Her young son happily carried our bags up to the very top of the hotel. There is no elevator but we returned a couple of weeks later and they placed us in an equally nice room on the main floor level. I didn't mind the stairs but I also didn't mind NOT using...

We spent 3 nights at this hotel in May 2010. The rooms are very small. There is not room for a chair. And when you sit on the toilet one foot is in the shower. The double bed we had is against the wall and there is only a little room at the end of the bed and on the...

After reading some reviews on tripadvisor.com, my wife and I decided on the Cherry Court hotel because of price and location. It's within about 300' of Victoria Station, and the price could not be beat in central London. It's a short walk to Buckingham Palace, Westminster, and other tourist locations. The Patels are very gracious and helpful hosts, and had...

Some people have had a good experience at this hotel, others not! Mine was the later case. I had three rooms in a three nights stay - after two nights I thought I might as well move someplace else. The staff are nice, they do try to fix things. The first morning I woke with bed bug bites down my...

We take all feedback very seriously, and we act promptly. We contacted our pest control immediately, and they were unable to find anything in any of our rooms. In order to satisfy and accommodate our guests we transferred them to our family room, which is based in the lower ground floor. Our website clearly states that our rooms are small,...

I stayed at "Cherry Court" for 6 days in April 09. As a middle aged woman travelling alone, my main considerations were that i needed somewhere friendly, clean, affordable and most of all safe. I did lots of research on the internet and read countless reviews before deciding on "Cherry Court" and I have to say, I couldn't have found...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
