With the price and location it was a perfect fit. Sure, the room and bed was small, but I had read that on Tripadvisor so I was prepared. Everything was clean and there are large mirrors everywhere that make the rooms and corridors seem much bigger. The room was pink and my daughter loved it, (it was quite cozy). The...

Such a charming building, from the outside. It's on a side street, just a couple of blocks from Victoria station - one of the big ones - which means it's easy to get anywhere. There are nice pubs, restaurants, coffee houses very close by, and from there it's an easy walk to Westminster Cathedral and Buckingham Palace. It felt like...

We stayed just 2 nights in the family room. Our family of five, with 3 teenagers, were pleasantly surprised with the room. Having 3 single beds and one double allowed for great sleeps and there was enough floor space for our 5 suitcases as well. Bathroom is tiny, but served us just fine. The location is the best, you are...

Affordable accommodations with a friendly staff. The rooms are tiny but functional. Fruit, juice, and biscuits (cookies) for breakfast. Conveniently located near a pub, underground station and bus station. Their wi-fi isn't the best, but it's free, and there is a desktop downstairs you can use for free - nothing fancy, but serviceable.

Affordable. Clean. Friendly. Safe. Very convenient to everything. We were very happy with our 9 day stay. Yes bigger might be better. But we preferred to use our money for activities and food. We would definitely stay here again and maybe try to pack smaller!!

The hotel is located a few minutes walk from Victoria Station and Victoria coach station, you can reach it easily from any airport. Rooms are very clean. We stayed at room number 12, located on the -1 floor. The room itself is a bit tiny for three adults but we didn't really care because we used it only for sleeping....

This hotel fulfilled our needs re: budget and location. It’s a mere 2-min walk to Victoria Station and we often stepped out to the neighboring streets to catch a full breakfast or a late dinner. The breakfast basket consisting of juice, protein bars, cookies, and fruit was perfect to get us started for a long day of sightseeing or to...

Good location in SW1, close to the tube and Victoria train station, and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. My room with attached bathroom was clean and more spacious than I anticipated. The breakfast provided is nothing to write home about, but was adequate - a basket with fruit, Capri Sun, cookies and a granola bar. The...

Friends whom I respect and trust recommended this hotel. The room would be small but the place is clean and very well located, they said. They were right. Had my wife been with me (as was planned), it would have been a pretty tight squeeze. But for one person, there's a bed, a small bathroom (you will wash the floor...

I stayed here in 2004 as a college student, and decided to spend two nights recently. I even ended up in the same room - a single on the top floor. Not much has changed here, which is both good and bad. They've clearly painted the room, and moved the bed around, but otherwise it all seemed pretty much the...

Thank you for your review. We were so pleased you chose to stay with us again. We have had some serious problems with our internet provider, and they have finally rectified the problem. We apologise that you had poor Wifi signal, but we have just upgraded it and you should have no problems when you stay with us again. Kind...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
