My family stayed 4 nights recently at this hotel in London. For me, the location could not have been better. Easy Tube access to both Heathrow and Central London. Great area for restaurants and very close to Tube. If you enjoy walking, there are many places a good walk away. The main queen size bed is super comfortable, comparable to...

Great hotel and value for money. Easy access to all tourist areas, with tube station being 2 minute walk from hotel. Pleasant walk to museums, harrods and good restaurants nearby. Hotel was great, rooms comfortable and spotless. Hotel staff were a credit to the management team, they were all extremely helpful, welcoming and had great sense of humours. Breakfast was...

Excellent hotel, friendly and welcoming and very clean rooms. Do not expect a lot of space if travelling with a family, but for a budget hotel you can't go wrong. Especially in London where the quality of some hotels is less than poor.

We choose this hotel after looking at family rooms in Hostels and found that these prices where cheaper if booked early. The building does not look like much from the outside but very quite and comfortable. We had a family room and all the beds were very comfort. The staff where all very helpful and friendly. We also had the...

The staff at reception are really great here! Very welcoming, friendly and eager to help out. Knowledgeable of the area and city. The beds were very comfortable. The area is great as it is very close to tube, many grocery stores and restaurants. We went everywhere by tube/subway and it was very convenient. Would definitely recommend:)

This hotel is a hideous blot on the beautiful landscape of elegant Earl's Court. It is depressing outside and the lobby matches it perfectly. Ugly wall screens allow the weary traveler to check in without the warmth of human contact. Staff are fortunately available at 2 front desks that are cheap and nasty. The staff are lovely and helpful. We...

Excellent choice. Friendly helpfull staff who always try to give me my favourite room 515 but not if the sound of the tube trains disturb you. I am an ex-Londoner and love the sound. Earls Court station 2 mins away with good connections to all parts of the capitol plus various bus routes. Avoid the peak time for breakfast and...

This is a great Premier Inn - a short walk from Earls Court Tube station. In a nice quiet location. We have stayed here several times and never have any problems with check in queues. The rooms are spacious and the childrens sofa beds are comfortable. You won't get a better breakfast and Thyme restaurant is a good option for...

We regularly use Premier Inn when travelling as a family. This was our first stay in Kensington, but the standard was great and as good as we've come to expect. Friendly staff, online check in before arrival,a lovely bar and restaurant and luggage storage. What more could you want? As other reviewers have mentioned, the railway is close by but...

For the price, location, professional staff and service, one could not get a better deal. Our luggage was lost in flight from US to England and one staff member took it upon himself to find it for us stating " you go and enjoy yourselves, this is my problem now," and our luggage appeared that evening. The hotel is located...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
