The Dover Castle Hotel and Bar was a great place to stay for two 19 year old girls. The hostel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is just a 30 s walk from the metro which takes you all over the city! we could also come and go as we liked at any hour, and a...

Perhaps things are different in private rooms, but I hated this hostel. The staff were snobby and very mean to me, the room was too small (smallest 6-bed dorm I've ever stayed), the shower rooms were unhygienic, and I basically had the worst time. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. It's smelly and dirty and just not worth it.

So the receptionist who checked me in corrected me and thought he knew the 'correct' pronunciation of my name better than me. Not very polite to greet anybody, I think. And then he blames me for misspelling my info on the check-in sheet. Weird start. I had one bed in a 4 bed mixed room. 3 pretty Dutch girls where...

Somewhat run down, but clean. No lift. Keep that in mind, you have to go to the basement to check in/out and then up two or three flights to the bedrooms. Breakfast (coffee, bread, jam, fruit and juice?) included. Free wifi. Tube nearby.

I was put into a bed beneath a leaking roof, there were no other beds available as a group of German teenagers were staying at the hostel. The staff were aware that the roof would leak but chose to put me in the bed on a night when there was a storm. When I say leak I do not mean...

Nice building with an "old english style. Nice traditional breakfast and a nice pub. Close to Borough market witch is wonderful! A good budget choice, specially if you travel in a group and don't mind som noise.

I am a rich person, I like to live in 5 stars hotels always I travel to EU in June. I stayed for one night and felt pleasant, great location, friendly staff speaking English, good neighborhood, reliable free wi-fi, relatively low price in London and with bar and restarant facility. I hope to go again. Paul

Great place good drinks and great staff!!! Ideal to watch sport and have a friendly cheap hang out. The bat can get crowds and they can order in pizza from a local take away. The drinks are all reasonably priced and it's one of the last places in London where you can come close to buying a round for a...

This hostel needs renovation. Paint is coming of the walls, showers are sometimes cold, sometimes too hot. We where sleeping in a 12 bed dorm room. My bed was next to a radiator that could not be turned off so it was very hot all the time. The only upside is the location, close to Borough station and within walking...
