Easy to find and easy to settle into - a charming helpful Reception had the paperwork ready and I was in my room in moments. Yes a coat of paint wouldn't hurt, but everywhere looked and smelt clean. My room was welcoming and attractive, everything worked and the shower had instant hotwater. A good breakfast with quality bacon and sausage...

We had a strange shaped ground floor room with little room to walk about but a decent bathroom. Too warm on arrival and TV oddly placed. Good location for needs and helpful staff. Breakfast ok in a pleasant room.

Just returned from a stay at the Staunton hotel in London. Position is brilliant as your only a ten minute walk from the theatres in the west end and also a 10 minute walk to Oxford Street. Opposite is a bus stop where you can catch a bus to Harrods in Knightsbridge( 25 minutes). We stayed in a triple room...

Despite the tired looking décor, this hotel is very welcoming, clean and comfortable offering a very tasty breakfast and is ideal for a short stay. The location is perfect being just around the corner from a whole host of bars and restaurants and in easy access of Euston Sq station (literally a 5 - 8min walk). The rooms are a...

Hotel is small and has about six rooms. I arrived early and room wasn't ready. She didn't seem to be very helpful and just told me to return after 2pm. I got a room on the third floor with no elevator. Room itself was very spacious and clean. However, when my neighbors returned home and I could hear everything they...

Dear Sir/Madam, I am sorry you are disappointed with the Staunton Hotel, the Hotel is a listed building (House) and unfortunately we cannot have a lift but we have mentioned it with all the agents and on our website, also we have 17 bedroom. We've stayed at the Staunton before, and remembered it to be much nicer. Now the carpeting in hallways and stairs is dirty and threadbare, our room, while clean, seemed smaller than ever, and lugging our suitcases up three flights of stairs, just too much. We were given only perfunctory assistance by the reservation clerk, and the breakfast staff had difficulty...

My short stay here for a couple of days was bery comfortable. The hotel, even though small, is extremely well equipped and offers very comfortable lodgings for a business traveller. The best feature of the hotel is its location. Its walking distance from Oxford Street and the tube stations. The hotel offers a satisfactory breakfast, the dining room is small,...
