Excellent, helpful staff from the doormen to the front desk. Wonderfully located for the subways. We ate breakfast in the restaurant every morning-nice. But...too dark to read in the room unless I lay down on the bed and used the bedside lamp. The lobby had what seemed to be a small library, but again, It was a challenge to read...

Smallest room I've ever stayed in. Walls of the room are well worn with plenty of marks and scratches. Tiny window that when opened reveals some special vortex of wind tunnel, train noise and what I can only assume is several floors of water disposal descending to a pit. On the up side, the bed is comfy, the bathroom is...

I stayed one night and overall it was a good stay. The room was very small, but it was just me so I didn't need much. The only downside was that I stayed on -1 level (basement), and the tube runs right underneath it every few minutes which you can hear rather loudly. Also, the dial to control the water...

I arrived late, the staff member was so helpful and accommodating. Suggested where to go to for dinner which there were a lot of choices. The location is so handy close to the underground station, shops and as I mentioned restaurants. Most of all clean and comfortable. Will definitely return back.

I spend one night at the Jade and I have to say my experience was amazing from beginning to end. Hotel is very close to underground station Earls Court. Very nice hospital front desk staff. The 1pers room was very clean and had all you needed. In the morning there were very nice croissants and you are allowed to use...

we stayed in august 2015 .. the room was really nice, clean and spacious enough for 2, however the bed was a small double, this hotel was in a great location in earls court - walk-able to many restaurants and the EC underground station

We had 2 rooms between us. Ours were better than the kids from what the kids told us. Theirs was very cramped. We were happy with the price and location. We'd go there again. We liked the fact it had a tiny fridge and sink along with a microwave. Could be a little cleaner but we are fussy

What is good? - it is very clean - it is steps away from Earl`s Court Subway station - free internet access - good coffee in the reception room - excellent surroundings: City of London can be reached by foot. - friendly staff. What is bad? - the rooms are small (but this is a characteristic of London`s hotels) -...

A few minutes walk from Earls Court underground station it is reasonably well located. The room was a lot smaller than I was expecting but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and it did the job. The décor is nice and contemporary and if you are a solo traveller and just looking to get your head down for the...

3 min walk from the station, bus stop is also near by. You can reach your room with suitcase by lift. Few steps outside of the hotel entrance. Can walk to Kensington Palace in 20 min. Supermarkets, restaurants, bank, launderette, pubs are closely located. Room and bath booth are clean. Enough space to use/stay. Fridge, kettle...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
