We stayed here for one night, and our room was quite big -- two double beds, a dining room table, a kitchenette and spacious bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy. There's even a heated towel rack. There are a couple of extras here that made our stay a bit more comfortable: Free Wifi with a strong signal; an in-room mobile...

I used to stay here when it was owned by a Singapore based group, now owned by a Malaysian institution. Wonderful value and if you like Malaysian cuisine, it's unique. The cafe offers Malaysian comfort food which is absolutely fantastic and, like the hotel, excellent value. The staff were always friendly from before and continue to care for their guests...

I have read most of the reviews posted and feel this hotel is being given a bad rap. For London accomodation this was an adequate room. Our family is 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 12. Let me firstly say, I was expecting the worst, as our last London accomodation experience some 17 years ago in the same...

I booked this accommodation to house 5 of us on a weekends visit to London. The apartment was exceptionally clean, great shower, speedy check in & a brilliant luggage storage area should you need to use it during the day. The downfall: the walls are so thin you can hear next doors conversations at a whisper! We were unlucky to...

We stayed here as a last min booking on the day due to train cancellations and had a warm friendly stay, couldn't of asked for more. It was well priced and there was lots of room for 4 people. The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable.

I stayed in the Grand Plaza for an average of around 3 nights per week for the last 12 months whilst working on a project in central London. I stayed in many of the rooms usually 4 person (double bed and sofa bed). All the apartments seemed to be uniquely shaped - usually consisting of a kitchen/diner/lounge and a bedroom...

The 2 bed apartment on the lower ground floor was very small. You could maybe swing a kitten...but not a full grown cat. Also, my bedroom must have been directly under a store room or kitchen as from 7am it sounded as though there was a catwalk event going on upstairs. When I mentioned this on check out through bleary...

Found these apartments very nice (bit small) but otherwise great . Very clean and perfect location. Especially liked the fact it had coffee tea milk so you could have refreshment on arrival and also dishwasher tablets liquid and sponge to clean up . No need to purchase large packet of these items for a 2 night stay .

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Grand Plaza apartments give you the independence and catering flexibility of your own home together with the comfort and service of a 4* hotel. Think of us as your home, but with cleaning, catering, porters and reception staff thrown in. Serviced apartments are the new direction for the hotel industry. They provide a ready made home rather than a ready made room. Each apartment has its own fully equipped kitchen. You choose whether to enjoy your own home cooking or try the Grand Plaza Breakfast or visit one of the myriad of restaurants within walking distance of the Hotel (or heat up a takeaway!) Grand Plaza is the largest Hotel/Apartment complex in Bayswater. We won the 2009 award for best serviced apartments in London as a result of votes from the readers of Business Destinations Magazine. We accommodate more people each day (tourist, leisure, romantic and business) than any other Serviced Apartment Hotel in the area.We are located in the centre of the West End overlooking the precise type of garden square which Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts climbed into in the Golden Globe nominated film, Notting Hill! We look forward to providing you with a home in central London. ... more   less
