We stayed at Space Apart in early 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed it. When we had the opportunity to visit London again last month, we didn't hesitate to return there. As before, we found the staff friendly and helpful, the neighbourhood convenient and the room -- a premium double -- clean, well designed and comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it...

Had an excellent 4 nights stay here for my honeymoon. David was really kind to upgrade us to a beautiful loft-like room and Shah (hope i spelled his name correctly) who was on duty, gave us a warm welcome. Room was excellent with all needed (and additional) and additional facilities. Washer/dryer and oven were very useful!!! Toilets were clean and...

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic time in London and at our hotel too. Although we did not stay in our apartment for all of our stay (as we were sightseeing we only slept and refreshed there) we had everything we needed including an adjustable big bed, huge plasma tv, a fabulous shower and bath, a brilliant kitchen and...

We stayed at the Space Apart Hotel for 3 nights. We were 3 friends, and got a studio apartment on the 4th floor (last floor). The hotel is new and the overall design and atmosphere was very welcoming. The room was specious, well arranged and fitted our needs. There was a sofa bed on the first level, and a double...

I stayed last September and can't wait to return, both to London and to Space Apart. This is the perfect hotel for the solo, experienced traveller who appreciates personalised service, and knows what to expect (and not to expect) from hotel staff. Dave, the manager, and Andre, the assistant manager, were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but...

Space Apart has easy access to bus transport and two different tube lines, Bayswater and Queensway. Our room was small but modern and very comfortable with an excellent range of equipment making food preparation easy. A dishwasher and a clothes washing machine / dryer were a great addition. The 3 guys who managed the hotel were very helpful with transport...

We stayed here with a 6 mth old baby, and called a month prior to check suitability. We followed advice and booked B04 or B06. We also rang a week before and reconfirmed. However when we arrived neither rooms were available. They offered a good replacement for 2 nights, but after that ended in a terrible room where the shower...

Davechas1982, Manager at Space Apart Hotel, responded to this review

As a general rule, we prefer not to write manager responses to guest reviews. We believe that all guests are entitled to voice their opinions, and Trip Advisor is an excellent platform in order to do this. We appreciate all types of feedback. While we take great pride in the vast majority of guests who have left positive reviews, we...

This hotel is in a good location - close to the tube and restaurants but in a quiet road. Stayed for 3 nights in a downstairs room. This had a little outside space with a table and a couple of chairs! It is refreshing to stay somewhere that is modern. Would have given 5 stars but the bed was so...

Surrounded by shops, restaurants and two tube stations. Paddington Station very close too. I had a studio apartment which was small as you would expect but had everything i needed. Was very reasonably priced- around 100 GBP per night from memory. Some renovation work was being done in room above me which made it a little noisy at night but...

RECOMMENDED: This is two townhouse buildings converted 2 years ago into 30 studio apartments for short duration stays. The apartments are of varying sizes but all with nicely appointed small kitchens, appliances and washer/dryer. Note: rooms are serviced only once per week (daily service is a separate charge). The property is in a good London location, easy tube/rail access and...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
