As with almost all premier inns the rooms are the same. Nothing too fancy, I found this location to be a little noisey from the road side and room over head. However the staff are really great there, very helpful and great for advice if your looking for a nearby restaurant. The location is fantastic as you are away from...

Great place to Stay with easy access to many parts of London, by foot or by Public Transport. I prefer this side of the City as it is a little quieter, but with still great access to London. The Location is on top of the Thames near London Bridge with its own Restaurant and Large Bar area to sit outside...

greeted by friendly smiles, and although our room wasn't quite ready, the way we were dealt with made it not a huge deal. Reception staff were excellent. Hotel really convenient for London Bridge and transport links. Lovely walks along the River. Excellent location for Borough Market.

I like this hotel, have been back a few times. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the location is nice. Some of the rooms are newly renovated and have pleasant bathrooms. Breakfast is in the adjacent building accessible from floor 1, nice rustic walls and setting by the water. The food itself fits my preferences, I would only improve...

Excellent location for The Shard & Borough Market. Comfortable & quiet place to stay. Lovely staff, most helpful. We were allocated a room which had the hairdryer miles from the mirror (did not suit my wife at all) ! Reception kindly moved us & we then had a larger room with mirror to suit ! All very nice. Thank-you P.I....

Ideal for visiting many well known attractions, especially if you want to enjoy the sites on foot. Very professional and friendly reception staff who always greeted us with a smile and showed an interest in what we were had seen/planned to do etc and offered useful tips. We didn't have breakfast, lots of cafes nearby and restaurants. Would definitely recommend...

Staying in Southwark

Neighbourhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighbourhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
