I've stayed in a lot of the cheaper hotels in London, and while this one is quite typical of its breed, it's actually not that cheap. There are hotels in the area that offer very similar facilities at £40 per night that the Jubilee Hotel offers at £90. The room itself was on the fourth floor, which, while the lack...

There is a hotel reception try to take me and my family money. He is a British white male work night shift. He charge me 20 euro for 4 bags after I collect my luggage. I didn't even receive any receipt from him. Please do not stay in this hotel. There is a thieves among the reception. Watch out for...

Very nice hotel I was reading other reviews and could not understand why some people not happy. You got what you pay for . Room is clean. Beds are very nice and clean. WiFi works excellent. The hotel is nearby of everything Underground and Victoria station. Breakfast might be not eggs and beacon but we had enough. Unlimited coffee. Recommended...

This hotel is old. Don't be surprised if lamps in your room won't work, or if the people working there don't really have that much interest in your stay. They do just enough to keep the business going. However, the beds are pretty ok and the services provided by the hotel such as free wifi and dropping your baggage off...

A very basic family run hotel. The best and most important thing (the beds) were perfect so can't fault that. But Breakfast is shocking (not even any fruit) Putting the family room on the 3rd floor is not good. The whole place needs some major tlc.

The location is really good, but that seems to be the only good thing about it. In London it is easy to get around with tube or other transport that to be located anywhere should be just fine. Room was small and the floor was so pitched that you felt like rolling of from the bed and on the other...

I stayed here for a night as the location was good and it was cheaper than most of the hotels near by. Ok, so the positives, great location and a decent bed. The bad.... grubby smelly room, rude staff, bad breakfast. We checked in and this was quick, room was grubby but bed was comfortable enough. Breakfast was a joke....

We never planned to stay here but as we were stranded in London Victoria we had no choice. Anyway for London's top, expensive prices you could say this was a reasonable priced stay for the night. They accepted our visit at almost 3am in the morning which is fair enough, paid upfront and had to write a few details before...

We were booked at a hotel nearby, and were moved to the Jubilee Hotel due to maintenance problems at our booked hotel. We don't travel light, so had requested a lower ground room. Got a 3rd floor room instead. Depressing room, old furniture and bed coverings, a very dirty chair and little else furniture,. a moldy bathroom, and a sink...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
