The room was extremely small, single bed however clean and it had everything - hair drier, good set of towels and semi-comfortable bed. I kept waking up during the night thou due to the noises around, the shower glass partition gave me a hard time as well. The worse for me was that there was no elevator and I had...

This hotel is amazing, a close walk to the metro, and a very Safe area!! The rooms were old but Extremely clean!! And I'm extremely picky!!! This was my first trip to London but this hotel was exactly what I wanted to experience. Charming, polite staff, typical English breakfast included every day! I was very happy with my stay and...

The St George's Pimlico is situated in a wonderful residential area of London, and as such is very quiet but still close to any and everything this great city has to offer. The Underground from Pimlico is a mere 5 minute walk and Victoria Station is 10. The rooms are small and the building itself is quite old, but the...

We stayed for 4 nights in early November and had an excellent experience in every aspect. First, the price was an outstanding deal for a modest but excellent room and a full British breakfast every morning. The location was very convenient--a 10 minute walk to Victoria Tube/Train station and to Victoria Coach Station. The staff was very friendly and accommodating....

We had a great and good surprise with this hotel that is very well located, near the Pimlico underground and Victoria station. It's also about 15 min walking till the Buckingham Palace, London Eye and many other touristic places. The room is not so big but very clean and had a very good mattress. We could see the London Eye...

Ok for a budget hotel, could use an update and some new furniture. Rooms quite small and there are alot of stairs for rooms on upper floors. Stayed for one night probably would not stay here again in the future.

We stayed at this hotel. We booked with bookings.com. We arrived early and they let us have the room early. We did have a room on 4th floor. No lift, so quite a hike. The room was small but very comfortable. Very clean apart from the shower, it could have been cleaner and the vent/fan in the bathroom was full...

No stayed in this type of hotel since working as a contractor in London in the early 80's. The hotel is in need of a massive update. My room was tiny and the décor was so outdated. I would also book room only and find a decent café for breakfast.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
