The ceiling in the bathroom looked like it was melting because of mold and paint falling off. The shower was like trying to get wet in light rain. Paperthin walls, radiator didn't work (it was freezing cold) and pretty dirty. Not worth it.

So I don't tend to write reviews, however this one deserves my time and effort as it's been given some very negative comments and none are close to the truth. Yes, it needs modernising as it's very basic and you can hear the traffic outside, and they could offer more at breakfast as I wasn't able to eat certain foods...

pretty much as what you expect in many London hotels these days, vastly overpriced, run down and well worn rooms with minimal facilities that you would not want to pay half the price for anywhere in the UK

This hotel is fine for providing good service and a comfortable room. One downside to the room was the thin pillows, good area to stay with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Decent breakfast, and the hotel could benefit from a refurb. It was fine, and did exactly what I wanted

Terrible, Dirty room. Had to change rooms after the first night, which was slightly better. Breakfast basic but very oily. Some rooms are old and humid. Luckily I didn't stay in the hotel much. Quite noisy!

Terrible experience. Rude Personnel at the Lobby. The room was really not comfortable ( bad bed, prison like bathroom, broken window) You could hear everything that was going on in the hotel. It's an old crappy hotel, that will surely be rbnb'ed out of business soon. Which is a Pity for the kitchen personnel who were very kind. Oh and...

Stayed yesterday with the good lady as we needed to be at the US embassy today. Booking.com was £65 with full English breakfast. Got a double room, clean sheets, comfortable bed, TV, great shower, microwave, Kettle, tea/coffee. Exactly what was needed. You would pay a tenner each for the breakfast alone and the staff, particularly those ladies in the Breakfast...

It was a terrible experience, even so hotel is cheap. London is totally booked out, apparently due to the fashion week. The only place I found was this one after checking many other hotels before. The rooms are extremely, basic, shabby and not really clean. When you switch on the shower, it sounds like a boat's horn. Apparently they are...

Firstly, don't be put off by the reviews shown on the internet about this particular hotel. Upon using booking.com for cheap flights and accommodation included I booked this hotel to stay in along with my boyfriend, without reading anything about the hotel before I booked it. Afterwards I decided to read some reviews and I wish I hadn't, a lot...
