A lovely short stay with the family.
Four of us were in an executive room with a stunning view of the shard!
Room was in excellent condition and we loved the Rituals amenities in the sustainable larger sizes.
Very comfortable bed and children were comfortable on their double sofa bed also.
Tea, coffee and fridge appreciated and would definitely benefit someone staying longer.
The hotel overall is lovely and modern, fab looking bar area and we saw people having afternoon tea, little shop area and restaurant was bright and contemporary too.
Breakfast was better than expected, not huge but everything we wanted, cooked English, fruit and yogurts, cereals etc. pancakes and waffles as well as patisserie items.
Lilli at breakfast was such a lovely character and in fact all the staff were excellent.
Would definitely recommend.

The welcome by Anjilla was fantastic, we were the family of the day and upgraded to a suite with haribo and crisps hidden all throughout the room. Small soft toys for our 2 & 5 year olds went down very well. 25% off in the restaurant solved the decision of where to go for supper which we and our 2 children greatly enjoyed.
Our 2 year old was given a full high ball glass of apple juice which unsurprisingly went everywhere before we had the chance to remove it but the staff were great and helped clear up and got us another without extra charge.
The location was great so we went on a post dinner walk by the Thames which was very picturesque.
Other reviews have mentioned this but the see through showers mean you have to know your group well and no one can be bashful and they could do with better drainage...

I am a Londoner by birth and live just outside now so don't often stay in Central London, but it was my birthday weekend and because of COVID didn't want to have the faff of tubes and trains at night. Was booked with the Ibis Styles next door but they weren't quite ready to re-open so moved here. Fantastic staff, especially Melissa on Reception- THANK YOU. Great room with a view of The City, though not sure about the trendy sinks in the middle of the room, never heard a peep from any other guests. Slept so well. Lots of additional cleaning measures and all felt very safe if you are worrried.
Excellent location for Borough Market, The Shard, The Menier ( when it reopens), The Globe ( recommend doing the tour) and The Breakfast Club ( a personal favourite) I wish I could have stayed longer
This is a great time to visit London, many attractions are re-open, not too many people about, hotel rates are low and they desperate for your custom. Please come back everyone my City needs you!

The hotel rooms are very comfortable and contain all the necessary amenities I would have expected.
This is the first hotel I had stayed in since hotels were allowed to open up. The adaptations within the room and regarding the breakfast service in order to reduce human contact were very well executed. Changes included having to-go tea and coffee cups in the rooms and in-room phones were removed and are currently replaced by a WhatsApp contact directly to reception. As cleanliness is the current priority of customers and guests, I would highly recommend this hotel to meet the present needs in hospitality.

Staff in the restaurant and bar area were particularly pleasant and made my stay a very welcome one!

First impressions before we stayed at this hotel were underwhelming. I had emailed ahead to put in a little special request since we were celebrating a birthday. The hotel responded by upselling packages costing £19 and £49 bookable only direct with the hotel, not via the website. No illustration of what I would be purchasing, only that they can be paid for via payment link and a list of what it included: Balloon bouquet, handwritten card, chocolate plate, personalised light box..
This struck me as odd and the packages were a little OTT. A little card would have sufficed. Needless to say I didn't purchase any package, and therefore no effort to add any personal touch was made by the hotel.

We stayed in a premium room, with our 2 young children. Sofa bed was large enough to accommodate both comfortably. Good sized fridge in the room.

Bathroom has no lockable door and the glass in the shower changes from clear to privacy at the flick of a switch. Dont expect large fluffy hotel towels, they're quite small and one we had was so worn and thread bare we asked for a replacement. No bath robes provided despite being listed as standard in this room type.
Our shower head was broken, maintenence replaced the following day.

Our children are only young, as noted on the booking, yet we weren't allocated a room with a bath. Worth bearing in mind if travelling with children you may need to request this

There was no AC in the room. Instead there is a 'air cooling system' which barely worked if at all. We complained as the room was uncomfortably hot, a lady arrived with portable fans, so we presume this is a common issue. We declined the offer to change rooms since our cases were unpacked and children in bed.

There were a couple of additional issues which we will put down to the hotel perhaps being quieter than usual and things being overlooked or not used in a while.

Location is good. Breakfast was ok and there are GF choices available. Very friendly and helpful staff at breakfast, a credit to the hotel.

Dear MrsMakonnen, Thank you for your detailed review. I was sorry to read you did not like the marketing of our Birthday and Anniversary packages. These are both available in the shopping cart with pictures online. Alternatively next time please email us direct and we are happy to put a bespoke package together for you h3269-gr@accor.com. Our Superior rooms do not have the opaque privacy glass screen if that is your preference, we can certainly allocate one of these rooms for you on your next trip. For anything further, please do reach out to us direct on h3269-gr@accor.com and we would be happy to assist you. Kind regards, Matt

This is a wonderfully located hotel around a 10 minute walk from London Bridge Station and less than five from the likes of Borough Market.

I arrived rather tired after a week of travelling and was checked in by the lovely Anjilla who explained what was on offer at the hotel that evening (live DJ at the bar) and did an excellent job of making me feel at home!

The room was huge, though I do find the layout to be a little on the abstract side (sink taking pride of place in the room itself for the some reason), but it was undoubtedly spotless with a fantastic view of the London skyline to boot.

The bar/restaurant had a very classy feel indeed, though I only made use of my welcome drink in there, so couldn't comment on the food offering. Certainly, the plates being handed out to fellow guests looked to be very tasty and well presented.

I would absolutely stay again. This definitely isn't the cheapest hotel in the area, but for the location and quality of the product, it's worth every penny.

Just returned from our stay with my two young children and wife.
I can honestly say this is my new favourite hotel in London, great area for exploring the Thames and main tourist sights and also close to Borough Market.

The stand out staff members of staff for me was John on reception who made sure our room was set up perfectly with a nice little gesture for my daughters birthday and was very helpful throughout our stay.
Gyum in the restaurant (not sure if that’s spelt correctly) went out of his way to have the chef prepare separate dishes for my daughter who has egg/nut allergy.
Both were very polite and helpful (along with the rest of staff) but these two are what every hotel needs. Well done John and Gyum!

The hotel it’s self has a very relaxing and upmarket feel with well presented and spacious (for London) rooms.
Immaculately clean and the food was of a high standard. Me and my family will definitely be returning and recommend it to everyone.

I stayed here with my husband and 2 children to celebrate my childrens birthdays (7&8)
I made a note on my booking about their birthdays and in our room we had sweets, crisps and drinks for the kids as well as a light up sign saying happy birthday (pics attached)
The rooms was a good size and our view was of the shard which my kids loved. The room and bathroom was very clean and looked newly refurbished.
Staff here were great and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The hotel is also in a fab location to underground connections
I would recommend anyone to stay here.

I stayed in the hotel for our 25th anniversary and it was a big mistake

Location:
While is says London Bridge, it a completely dead area and nothing to do

Service:
Very basic, nothing special

Room:
I chose an expensive premium room, but it has horrible design, the bath room is split into 3 areas, Toilet enclosed, shower has its own door but glass towards the bedroom with no curtain and finally the hand wash basin is actually in the room by itself next to the bed,

there is absolutely no view, just a roof or something

We ask fo towels set and we get one by one. I needed 3 visits to reception to geta. full set.

Breakfast
I know it is Covid time, but it could be managed a lot better, did not enjoy that.

Parking:
When I checked in I asked for parking and they said, they have one ninth back and I could validate the tickets at the end, but on checkout, I was told they done own the parking and I have to pay the hotel next door something like 40+ pounds.

Dear AymanAltounji, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the stay with us. Regarding our location, I understand the area wasn't convenient for you but we do have many attractions in London Bridge. We do have beautiful views from our hotel - next time you visit us leave a request and our welcome team will try their best to give you a room with a lovely Shard view. The room booked indeed has an open bathroom concept, if you don't like the design our team will be happy to give you a different type of room next time. I apologise you didn't have the towels in your room, the issue has been reported. Regarding breakfast, thank you for the feedback - we surely are improving it. Now we are back to Full English and Continental breakfast so many options for our guests. The car park belongs to our sister hotel, therefore, they are the ones taking payment for it. I do know they charge £26 for 24h. If you have any doubts regarding the amount you paid, please send the receipt to me and I'll investigate. In case you would like to talk to us directly, please feel free to contact me on h3269-gr@accor.com France Nunes & the Novotel London Bridge Family

We booked two adjacent rooms as we are a family of 4, months ahead and even called to confirm days before our trip. When we arrived at the hotel past 1am after a very long flight with two little children and struggled through the entrance with our luggage as there was nobody help us we were greeted by a very unpleasant front desk man - Ceasar. From the time he saw us outside it seemed like our arrival was a great nuisance to him. He never formally greeted us, never looked at us while speaking or moved from his sea. Then casually when handing our keys mentioned “we are out of adjacent rooms but gave you two rooms across from each other”. When we explained to him that we booked and requested two adjacent rooms weeks ahead and called to confirm, his answer was “we are out of rooms”. No apology, very annoyed disgusted look on his face. I have never been treated so poorly by hotel staff. We requested a meeting with the manager immediately, and Eric came out - who was extremely professional and polite. Thank you, Eric. While we never got the two rooms we requested making it very inconvenient, I appreciated at least the right attitude from the manager. I strongly suggest that the hotel staff re-trains Ceasar or considers placing him in another position with minimal customer interaction. All other staff in the hotel was great and the rest was good, but what a bad first impression.

Hi! Our rooms has the setup of one queen size bed with a sofa which can be converted to a sofabed. This sofabed can fit either one adult or two children. Unfortunately, we do not have single beds, or rooms with three beds.
