Stayed for a night with my wife, had a terrible sleep. We stayed in room 14 which was a basement room near the breakfast room. The first thing that kept us awake was the creaking of the floorboards of the room above, firstly until half twelve at night, then again at three when one of them got up! Then when...

Peter treated us like family! Wonderful hotel for the price. And nothing but happiness and care for us again like family. Peter is a gem! Practices are wonderful. And simply asking to help you with anything. Don't get your tickets for places around town ask the front desk first they can usually help you at a discount and print information...

The serving of the breakfast at this hotel is scandalous. Two mornings in a row we have had to que half an hour to even get a table. The breakfast room is too small and there are simply not enough chairs for all the guests at the hotel. So this hotel must be avoided!

Room is small as it is usually in London. Good internet connection. Bathroom is renovated just recently. Tea-set in the room. Iron available. Great breakfast, especially good that it's included in room price. Attentive and helpful staff!

Clean, comfortable rooms, decent breakfasts and not far from the brilliant Piccadilly line. We left our bags on the last day to keep sightseeing. It would have got a 5 star had the sash window rattling in the wind not kept us awake and also if staff could have smiled a bit more. My daughter found them a bit scary!!!...

I was amazed by the size and comfort of our twin room - really comfy beds and everything was clean and fresh. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel is extremely well located, very handy for trains, tubes, and buses. Soundproofing was not a feature, but it's a quiet area and after a day touring London we were out like...

Just had three night stay at this hotel. I cannot fault it in any way. We stayed on ground floor in a reasonable size room with adequate shower and toilet facilities. Plenty of drawers and double wardrobe. Tea and coffee, hair dryer, shampoo etc. and even an ironing board and iron. Bed and breakfast with help yourself to cereal with...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
