We waited outside in the rain for 6 minutes waiting for the manager to open the door for us. When he finally did, he seemed overly-cautious, and asked our friend (the only white male in the group) if he was with us, before finally letting us get our keys. Needless to say the service was terrible.

This hotel is a (relative) bargain for London. I wish I had the option to rate it "fair" given the circumstances. I would have dared to rate it good if it weren't for two issues.. This was my first trip to London and I chose this hotel due to its easy access to Heathrow and other attractions. Other pros are...

The hotel is part of a group of three, The Saphire, the Pearl and the Emerald which are situated next to each other. We stayed at the Pearl / Emerald. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the floof in the entrance was very impressive being decoratively tiled with marble like tiles. The room was adequate with a small fridge and...

I was booked to stay at the Sapphire Hotel for 2 nights last week. As with most people on here, I ended up for some reason being checked into the Pearl Hotel instead (which I presume is a sister hotel). When I arrived I was in a rush to get to a meeting and it was heavily raining, the man...

I Was looking for a cheap room for my partner and I and our 3 year old son for 1 night. Found a very good deal online, and despite usually reading lots of reviews didn't this time. Was not sure what to expect after reading the varying reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Yes the room was small, but when staying...

We arrived at the hotel at around 6 pm. There is no actual Reception as such just a room where a guy was sat at a desk surrounded by baggage so it must double up as the baggage store room too. We were asked to pay for our rooms immediately and then ushered down the road to the Pearl Hotel....

Don't worry about the bad reviews , this place is ok , yes the rooms are small and you get sent to the pearl hotel which is about 5 doors down from the sapphire , but the pearl is very clean and comfortable and staff are ok , only downside is the breakfast , was expecting the full English but...

What a disgrace! This hotel should be closed down and the owners sent to learn how to deal with Civilized clients, hotel management school would be a start. I dread to think how much money this place steals from people by double booking rooms, let alone terrible staff attitude, smelly and dirty rooms, paper thin walls. Never book this dive...

We stayed here for a 4 day trip to London. When I booked the room I did not believe what people were saying about the hotel. (There is always this group of people that try to find the hair in the soup.) That was a huge mistake. It was even worse. I was not looking for outstandingly comfort but what...
