I was shoopping in London with my Daughter and found the room really good value for money. Close to Oxford Street, Friendly reception, Clean and comfortable rooms. Steep stairs so not good for disabled people.

The best thing about this hotel is the location, right next to Bond street and Oxford Circus. The room I satyed in was very small as was the bathroom. Sitting on the toilet was only possibly if you turned to the right because the sink got in the way on the other side. Badly decorated, one framed picture, wasn't even...

As a lot of people have said the two members of staff we met were unfriendly and miserable. This is not a hotel, it's a collection of rooms spread over two buildings, although the room was clean, it's only good point, it was incredibly noisy, single glazed windows do nothing to keep out the noise of the city. Breakfast was...

We booked this hotel through Booking.com. In Booking.com rating of this hotel is three stars which I disagree. I would call it a hostel level rather than a hotel. The hotel has a very narrow and steep stairway. Every night from around 2am to 6 am there was a horrible voice like someone was drilling the wall (was it the...

No service. No smiles. No kindness. Miserable access. Dull and boring breakfast (white cold toast) Dirty carpets. Poor ventilation. Very small bathroom. Mini shower. Extremely soft beds. View to small dark backyard full of noisy pigeons and there droppings. Sound slipping through walls/doors from next room. You don't want to be there. Wifi for ONE device is 7 pounds pr...

Made reservation for myself and two kids, over a month before the vacation. Confirmed the reservation by email and got written approval I have my booked room, and that late arrival is fine. Had a slight delay in flights and upon arrival to the hotel they said they have no room for us. Showing them their written approval did not...

The location of this hotel is perfect . On the junction between Oxford street and Regent st. The breakfast is ordinary, better be early - they can't compete with lots of guests. We sat at one morning more then half an hour and nobody came to us. The rooms are less then moderate but they are clean.the biggest disadvantage of...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
